Will it snow in Paris? Remembering the great "climate corruption cover up"

Tim BallRebel Columnist

Prime Minister Trudeau and Elizabeth May head to Paris to spend millions of tax dollars on a non-existent problem.

They base their position on the work of the Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC), ignoring the fact that every prediction that agency ever made was wrong.

If that didn’t stop them, then clear evidence of corrupted science won’t make any difference, either.

Professor Dr. Friedrich Karl Ewert, retired geologist and data computation expert, looked at the data used for the global warming claims. He focused on the data of NASA’s Goddard Institute of Space Studies (GISS). Here is what he found as reported by Notrickszone:

From the publicly available data, Ewert made an unbelievable discovery: Between the years 2010 and 2012 the data measured since 1881 were altered so that they showed a significant warming, especially after 1950. […] A comparison of the data from 2010 with the data of 2012 shows that NASA-GISS had altered its own datasets so that especially after WWII a clear warming appears – although it never existed.”

Ewert uncovered 10 different methods NASA used to alter the data. The 6 most often used methods were:
• Reducing the annual mean in the early phase.
• Reducing the high values in the first warming phase.
• Increasing individual values during the second warming phase.
• Suppression of the second cooling phase starting in 1995.
• Shortening the early decades of the datasets.
• With the long-term datasets, even the first century was shortened.

At the same time, the IPCC claims were challenged by what is called the hiatus, a lack of warming since 1998. The problem is captured in this cartoon:

It appears US National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) scientists led by Tom Karl et al., tried to eliminate the hiatus in a paper published in Science (June 2015) titled “Possible artifacts of data biases in the recent global surface warming hiatus.”

Ross McKitrick, who worked with Steve McIntyre to expose Michael Mann’s "hockey stick" quickly spotted problems.

Others followed as people are now alert to the practices of political climate science.

As usual, the cover-up tells the story:

Science, Space, and Technology Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Texas) today sent a letter to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Administrator Kathryn Sullivan responding to the agency’s unjustified refusal to provide the Committee with documents related to the agency’s decision to alter historical climate data. After three letters requesting these documents, Chairman Smith issued a subpoena on October 13th to obtain communications related to NOAA’s decision.

NOAA failed to respond, prompting Smith to state the following:

Although NOAA failed to provide the Committee with any justification for withholding documents, a NOAA spokeswoman was quoted in the media saying that the agency’s “internal communications are confidential and not related to what Smith is trying to find out.” As such, NOAA reportedly does not intend to provide the Committee with communications.

This is about research done by government bureaucrats at taxpayers expense that was critical to government policy and will form the basis for world policy in Paris.

Then a second revelation underlined the parallel between other IPCC practices. Smith revealed that:

Whistleblowers have told the committee, according to Smith’s letter, that Thomas Karl — the director of NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information, which led the study — “rushed” to publish the climate study “before all appropriate reviews of the underlying science and new methodologies” used in the climate data sets were conducted.

This confirms Mary McCarthy’s definition:

Bureaucracy, the rule of no one, has become the modern form of despotism.

This month is the sixth anniversary of the leaked emails from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) that exposed all the malfeasance, manipulation, and scientific malpractice of the major IPCC players.

The corruption continues as political ideologues Trudeau and May go to Paris to use flawed data as the basis for imposing political and economic control over the citizens.

No wonder some people find the bumbling, blustering bombast of Donald Trump preferable to these professional politicians. Even snow in Paris won’t bring them to their senses.

Mark visit the Environment Canada website and look up the historical weather data for Vancouver. You did not have feet of snow when you were a kid. I did a cursory scan of the snowfall data and found that one year , it was in the 30’s I believe that the snowfall for the entire year was 80 cm with no ground accumulation on a monthly basis. I think that when we were kids the snow was always deeper and winters colder irrespective of where we lived. The data doesn’t support that recollection.

Bravo Zulu – indeed!… Maurice Strong was the chairman of Ontario Hydro in 1994 who used taxpayers money to buy up 31,000 acres of Costa Rican rainforest to supposedly offset global warming… This fruitcake darling of various United Nations agencies was a major contributor to the insanity which prevails now as developed nations ship billions of dollars to more “Costa Ricas” while China and India keep creating most of the man-made pollution… One could cite “insanity” at work, but I’m afraid it is rather a calculated plan to make the United Nations eventually rule us all…

One bright and joyful bit of news.

Maurice Strong died today.

May he rot in hell for eternity.

May Soros follow closely upon the heels of Strong.

This is so obvious, Professor Dr. Friedrich Karl Ewert, explains it so well! So does lord Christopher Moncton and Canadian Climatologist Dr. Tim Ball!
Just seeing the facts and knowing that the UN and Governments are pushing so hard to perpetuate this fraud on mankind in order to bring us to our own destruction – basically run us all into poverty purposely – absolutely aggravates me!
This is like ordering people to destroy themselves – but everybody knows we don’t deserve to be in a position to do something so stupid!
If these UN and Governments feel that people should destroy themselves because we are emitting Green Houses Gases the CO 2 that plants use to breath – than I have a suggestion – none of us will mind if all you people go ahead and destroy your selves first and we will hang around until later to see if you were right and the world improved after you left!

Well, Mark David Johnson… So “climate change effects” are “bloody everywhere”?… Indeed they are – like the fact that the majority of major ski hills in B.C. opened their season one week EARLIER than normal this year?…

When they start farming on Greenland again like people did 1000 years ago, then I think there may be a bit of climate change. Try running that comment in most MSM publications or many of the now available “climate” publications and watch how fast it will get “moderated” then deleted. Sure glad that the rebel can keep an open mind.

Ron Voss i do enjoy showing how wrong they are , but you are right , time to ignore them altogether.

yes it’s borrowed money now but who do you think is going to pay it back ? Future taxes – probably the next several generations !
commented 2015-11-27 22:37:21 -0500
«to spend millions of tax dollars on a non-existent problem.»

This is completely false! (Every extra dollar Trudeau is spending is not “tax” money — it’s borrowed money.)

2.5 B promised to countries in order to help “fight” climate change. Ignorance and idiocity continue to drive the narrative. Climate change is outside of human control; we have to learn to “adapt” not to “fight”.
And we will.

Any of the believers in this climate garbage please lead by example and stop using all polluting substances and sorry but complaining about others does not erase your own enviro sins and make you better than anyone else.

BILL COLLINS, I know it is hard not to respond to their inane comments, but don’t feed the trolls, just leftist “useful idiots”.

Mark on record does not account for a very long time. And we have only been able ti take sattelite pics of the ice since 1979. And the SOuth Pole the ice has been generally increasing by around 1% a year since then, why do you chicken littles ignore that and other facts.

Every one of these UN climate non-crisis confabs only attracts the most ravenous parasites and is nothing more than an advance auction on stolen goods.

Mark climate change has always happened and always will happen, we can do little about it, nature does not care about taxes.

Bill, if you’ll actually read what I wrote, I didn’t argue both sides. I said artic air went further south and caused a colder winter because the air streams were hotter and reacted atypically.
I also gave a smidgen of context. You all have seen climate change effects. They’re bloody everywhere. People just don’t understand them.

Also here is the real RSS data (for reference RSS also only measures three variables of the upper atmosphere temperature which is muted compared to surface temperature changes):

A carbon tax is pure genius. In place, it is intended to reduce carbon dioxide in our air and stop climate change. But the beauty of it all is, when the climate keeps changing you can claim that it’s changing because the carbon tax is not high enough and raise it again and again. . If a small carbon tax doesn’t stop climate change, then surely a bigger one will. No true believer can deny this.

Winny, of course, is thrilled with the momentum that Nutley and the Prince of Primp brought to this issue. She now has a new revenue tool. It will allow her to get the credit agencies off her ass for deficit financing raises for her government employees and unionized supporters. She’ll have the money she needs to keep her supporters in line for the next election without deficit financing. Hallelujah, no more f—ken credit downgrades.

I see the useful idiots are out in full force in a number of comment sections.
I would explain to my kids, who have all graduated, that there was this little company called Hudsons Bay. This company used to sail wooden ships through the north west passage in the summer months to the many outposts in the arctic. These ships sailed for decades, until the ice started stay for the summer and then were unable to get to these outposts resulting in these outposts closing down. Then some 150 years later ( give or take a few decades) the ice has depleted in the summer months again and for some reason the world is coming to an end. I don’t get it, help me out here.
To the useful idiots, don’t take my word on it, its in the history books. Look it up yourselves.

MARK DAVID JOHNSON, take a breath. You just argued both sides of the argument in one rant. Last year Lake Ontario froze over for the first time in recent history and 400 years ago the Thames river froze over repeatedly. If you’re so unhappy living in a temperate region of the country move back to Ontario where you can skate on a lake again.

Oops, among the supporters of Naomi Klein’s “Leap Manifesto”, I forgot to mention a number of very important friends, namely, labour unions and union leaders like Hassan Yussuff, President of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) to which most labour unions are affiliated:
As I keep saying over and over again, “Birds of feather flock together”, which includes those teeny weeny birds, the left-wing “useful idiot” trolls that comment here.
If you go to the CLC website, which declares that “Unions Can Lead On Climate Change”, you will find Yussuff, Klein Unifor President Jerry Dias, and others exercised with sweet, syrupy, caring words about how “climate change is the biggest threat to humanity”, and “we have had a government over the last 10 years who have been climate deniers (Yussuff):

“Don’t let facts get in the way of a political opinion though.” That’s quite laughable! Got it almost right. Here’s the corrected version: Don’t let facts get in the way of a political ideology though. Like that of socialist Naomi Klein, who, in the midst of the recent federal election, along with a cloud of left-wing activists and artists, including ‘Dr.’ David Suzuki, leftist lawyer Clayton Ruby, Donald Sutherland, Pamela Anderson, Maude Barlow (Council of Canadians, er Leftists, Bruce Cockburn and, of course, that great ‘Canadian’ Neil Young,
with fanfare launched her “Leap Manifesto” (which brings to mind Mao’s Great Leap Forward), a declaration which calls for a radical overhaul of Canada’s economy, ending fossil fuel use and switching “our energy systems to 100 percent renewables”. According to Klein, climate ‘science’, has given ‘progressives’ “the most powerful argument against unfettered capitalism” ever. Hmm.

Mark David Johnson commented 2 hours ago

Temperature data sets have been falsified for years to show warming that doesn’t exist. The latest scientist to look at them says they’ve been falsified to the hilt. The satellite data shows no warming for almost twenty years.
commented 2015-11-27 13:08:57 -0500
Do you see what happens when they don’t teach ancient history? The constant is that the climate has always changed since the beginning of time. It gets hotter, it gets colder; it gets drier, it gets wetter. Civilizations, species, flora have come and gone because of climate change long before mankind started the Industrial Revolution. The difference this time is that there are a few who are rubbing their hands in glee at the prospect of the dynasties they can create by duping the poor dumb sheep out of their tax dollars on a lost cause.
commented 2015-11-27 12:09:59 -0500
Dr. Ewert’s work is totally discredited and was done specifically to make a name for himself.
There hasn’t been a 17 cooling trend, 8 of the 10 hottest years on record (verified by not only NASA but the Russians released a climate report as well) have happened since 1998. And has been verified by a number of different agencies, many with a bias against climate change.
The datasets weren’t “altered” either. You can download them yourself if you don’t believe me.

Scumbag fact making up award goes to: The Rebel.

Really you think global warming is not a problem? Then what the hell is happening? 30 years ago, Okanagan Lake used to freeze over in the winter. Now it doesn’t. When I lived in Vancouver when I was a child we had feet of snow every year (now we get a dusting everyone loses their minds). Minus freak jet stream changes for the eastern portion of the continent (because the air was too friggin hot to circulate on regular weather paterns allowing arctic air to travel much farther south than normal) that caused the winter from hell a few years

Don’t let facts get in the way of a political opinion though.
