Woman attends car dealership's 'April Fools Day Special'. The fools are those who didn't show up

Rebel Staff

Trade your old car in and get a brand new one? It sounds too good to be true.

A woman in New Zealand fell for the ad which said that the first person to come to the dealership with the newspaper advertisement and ask for 'Tom' would get a new car.

Tiaana Marsh ended up not being a fool at all when she walked into the dealership.

In fact, her new car's license plate said just that.

Turns out 'reverse April Fools jokes' are now a thing. And when they're filmed, they're a great way to get your company noticed.

Need a 'feel good' video to watch? Enjoy this one.

Donald Allen. Excellent, a 3000 word piece explaining all that you mention below would be one I would be interested in reading – whether on Rebel or CBC. I don’t want to read articles about what Reddit did on the weekend or about April Fool’s marketing pranks.

My point was that Rebel is already turning into yet another click-bait news organization.

Michael Watts, Regarding your comment “some redneck state” , it is the State of Indiana. The Law they are propossing mirrors the Federal Law known as “Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993”. It was introduced by then congressman Chuck Schumer and signed into Law by some redneck president named Bill Clinton. Frankly, you are a victim of the so called Mainstream media who has failed again to tell the whole story.

The only thing that April fools twist proved was that 99% of people either think dealer car ads are lies or ignore them completely.

Apologies for my lousy spelling/grammar.. I was ‘enraged’ when I read this shitty story, and it negatively affected my intelligence.. When I want to read crap like this I will go to Gawker or TMZ.

Seriously…. You guys are going down the CBC/Gawker Clickbait crap that is not news??? Already? After all the things you did on SunNews.

In other news….the CBC is reporting that the internet is outrageged and Goatse’ed a Pizza resteraunt in (I forget some redneck state) because it was anti-gay marriage. (oh and they also posted 30 negative comments to their facebook or something….)

Give me original real non-MSM news and I will pay to subscribe!!!

HOLD IT RIGHT THERE (True & Maurice)
I am hoping for these funds by the May 24 week-end, as It is I who has been “PROMISED” & “GUARANTEED” these funds by the Righteous Princess of Gwantu herself…

Bad news Maurice. When you didn’t contact the Nigerians, they emailed me and offered me the deal. Sorry.

Yeah, that sort of thing always happens to me too. Maybe I should start responding to those emails from Nigeria; there seems to be an inexhaustible supply of wealthy Potvins there, and they’re just dropping like flies. So far, I’ve accumulated several hundred millions of dollars. It’s just waiting for me to pick up. I haven’t gotten around to it yet, but it’s comforting to know it’s there waiting for me.
