World Meat Free Day just another anti-human "green" gimmick

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

I'm disappointed. At first, I thought it was "Free Meat Day" today!

Turns out it's actually Meat Free Day. I think it's something else the hippies invented.

Paul McCartney is one of the celebrities behind this. His "carbon footprint" is huge but he wants the rest of us to eat veggies to help save the planet.

Every "progressive" "green" campaign is about living smaller instead of embracing real progress, like how improved agriculture and nutrition has added 50 years to our life expectancy.

Save the planet – eat a vegan!
commented 2015-06-16 09:58:10 -0400
The trouble with vegetarians is most of them can’t help trying to make you feel guilty about eating meat. I will never understand these people. My only wish is that they allow others the freedom to eat what they wish, without these busybodies sticking their noses in. I personally don’t give a rats butt whether you are a vegetarian or not.

Ahh! The Nuge! A wise man. Good music too. I guess this whole farce of a day made me realize why I’d never date a vegetarian… If you need me to explain this, let me know }:-D

Prince Knight, in answer to your question, I do believe that was non other than Ted Nugent who said that.

In honor of this day, I’m going to have extra helpings of Bacon with my breakfast, have a triple cheese burger for lunch, and BBQ the biggest steak I can find for supper. Thanks uber-left whackos, you’ve made my meal choices for my day a snap!

Who said, “There’s a place for all God’s creatures — right next to the mashed potatoes…”?
commented 2015-06-16 00:24:17 -0400
Hell, you got me all excited! I misread the headline as “Free Meat Day” and was about to dash out to my local butcher’s for about 40 T-bones! Barbecue all Summer!
Sigh. But,it’s just another story of activist lunatics telling me what to eat in addition to already telling me what to think.

May I cordially make a suggestion to the “meat-free” types, involving sex and travel?

1) Eating meat is instinct, not eating meat is a choice.
2) If everyone stopped eating meat, cows, pigs, goats, turkeys, chickens and all the other animals would be extinct in a few years because there would be no need for them. Vegans must therefor support speciecide.

Ronald Marshall you must be a leftie “progressive”. You do like many lefties do, you come on the site and insult everyone. That is a very left wing “progressive” thing to do, attack that which you disagree with rather than accepting people for who they are. Try rebutting the opinions you read hear with logic and facts rather than emotion and hate.

From what I understand, too much domestic red meat isn’t healthy, but it is tasty. However, it’s so expensive that it’s a rare commodity in my shopping cart, unless it’s on sale. But wild red meat, such as moose, deer and caribou aren’t expensive if you shoot them yourself (without spending thousands of dollars on an expensive hunting trip, that is), and they are very healthy for you, so that’s what I eat whenever I can. I pretty much have to get friends and family to hunt for me these days. I don’t give a damn about meatless Monday and I never will.

I celebrated meat-free day with an extra large beef and lamb Shawarma, instead of a salad I had the chick pea soup (with extra peaing chicks) nobody gonna call me no vegan poofter.
commented 2015-06-15 18:58:09 -0400
Oh, red meat isn’t the problem — it’s the growth hormones and other chemical additives (as well as fat “marbling”) that are the problem. Grass-fed beef is still healthy! (Though I prefer moose or elk or bison… personal choice.)

This is in no way denigrating those who have chosen a meat-free diet; to each their own! But a “meat free” activist day? Get a grip…
commented 2015-06-15 18:45:18 -0400
The best diet is a little of everything and everything in moderation. Don’t like my diet? Bugger off and mind your own damned business.

Oops Rebelator2 that was suppose to be.

Rebator2. Thanks for presenting a great case for women to eat More Red Meat. 😃

Constant eating of meat, especially red meat, heightens aggression in alpha males of all species.
This is terrible and Ezra is laughing at the millions of mostly vegetarian female victims of these brutes.
For shame !!

1. Killer Meat: Not only does meat clog your arteries and cause heart attacks and strokes, but every day, hundreds of thousands of car accidents are caused by people driving while eating hamburgers picked up at fast-food joints.

2. Meat, the Destroyer of our Planet: Forests mowed down for grazing, and bovine flatulation are burning up the planet:

Fact: 99.999% of all scientists, plus Algore, plus Canada’s own Great Gazooki agree that every cow raises global temperature by 1/200,000,000 Degree Centigrade.

That means, with nearly a billion cows on the planet, global temperature will increase by 5 degrees centigrade! Get ready for the glaciers melting, the hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and environmental wars.

3. Meat is Racist: “Red meat” and “white meat” are racist pejoratives! Also, why is there no “brown meat”, “black meat” or “yellow meat”? Prejudice!

“Meatless Monday” rally chant:

“Hey-hey, Ho-ho,
Meat to eat has got to go!”

If this were meat free day to boycott the industry for the outrageously high prices for meat at the grocery stores that would be a good thing, but not just for the fact of not eating meat. I happen to enjoy eating meat but refuse to pay $10 or $20 per pound for a lot of the cuts of meat they are selling. But that’s another topic. These groups that are whining for people to be meat free for one day are all part of the hug a tree, go green, recycle, etc environmentalists (notice the word mental in their name) are all sickening and annoying. Aren’t they the same group that say the world is overpopulated and the world needs to get rid of people? Don’t want to listen to anything the Kevorkians and Nazi’s of world have to say.

I don’t understand Paul McCartney. His first wife was a staunch vegetarian, as he and her kept pushing the vegetarian life as being so healthy, she died from cancer at a fairly young age, so what did that vegetarian lifestyle do for her? In spite of this, he sill keeps insisting it’s the healthier way to go…too bad, but I still don’t buy it.

In the Old Testament, when animals were being sacrificed, God loved the smell of the meat cooking!

Mmmmmmmm, mammals. My favorite food in the whole world.

Like someone far wiser than I once said: If God didn’t want us to eat animals he wouldn’t have made them out of meat.
commented 2015-06-15 15:24:14 -0400
Be it known now. I’m not against fruits and veggies either. Something has to pair with meat. My motto when it comes to food: “If it looks good, I’ll drool.
If it smells good, I’ll drool more.
If it tastes good, I’ll crave more,
If it’s real, I’ll eat it!”

Russell Turner – "so if you want to eat animal life forms, that seems to be your choice at this time. "

At this time?? I will eat meat for the rest of my life regardless. I will not be stopped.

No meat day? Well it looks like I will be buying a thick cut prime rib steak and eating it today!

I’ve been a Vegetarian, almost Vegan for 25 years because of the Stories a Relative would tell when he worked in a Slaughterhouse – yikes!!! That was it for me. NO MORE MEAT. That’s a PERSONAL Choice.

I don’t agree with the Activists – they remind me of MARXISTS and ISLAMISTSTRYING TO impose their ways on the rest of us. Not Cool!
