1. Rockets fired into Israeli resort town of Eilat
A barrage of rockets were fired at the Red Sea resort town of Eilat late Wednesday. Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system managed to intercept three of them.
No Israelis were hurt in the incident, but a number of Israelis suffered anxiety.
Eilat sits on Israel's southernmost tip and shares a border with Jordan and Egypt's restive Sinai region.
Could this have been a test of the effectiveness of the Iron Dome system? If 50 per cent get through in a barrage of eight rockets for example, how many would get through with fifty?
2. Germany: Migrant breaks girl’s nose for refusing sex advances, then knocks out her rescuer
The Congolese migrant approached the girl, aged 17, at Dortmund's main train station but she rejected him, witnesses said.
According to police, the migrant then hit her in the face, breaking her nose, before a German man ran to help her.
The Good Samaritan from Kalkar was then hit the migrant, and was also knocked out by the blow. […] Police have revealed the alleged offender is a 21-year-old asylum seeker from the Congo.
3. There are reports of an explosion leading to injury on a Paris subway.
French officials are stating that it was not terrorism but an equipment failure, in contradiction to what witnesses are stating.
France has adopted an official policy of not revealing the Islamic nature of terrorism.
DOZENS of passengers have been evacuated from a Paris train station after a huge explosion caused fears of a fresh terror alert.
The incident, on Line 6 in or near to the Place d'Italie subway stop, is initially believed to have been caused by an electrical fire, but these reports are unconfirmed.
4. Victims of New Year’s Eve Migrant Attacks Come Forward: "They Grabbed Me Everywhere"
Allegations of sexual harassment, theft, and assault by migrants on New Year’s Eve have emerged, more than a month after Frankfurt police announced that the night had passed off peacefully.
Angered by official reports that no incidents had occurred, one of the victims, backed by a bar owner and his staff, has come forward to tell Bild newspaper they were attacked in the early hours of New Year’s Day by a large group of Arab migrants on the Fressgass, an upmarket commercial street in the city centre.
The alleged victim, Irina A., 27, told the paper: “I’m thankful I wore sheer tights. They grabbed me under the skirt, between my legs, my breasts, everywhere.
“Me and my girlfriends. More and more of these guys came. Their hands were everywhere.”
5. Asylum seeker arrested for "abusing EIGHTEEN women" during two-hour train journey in Germany
An asylum seeker has been detained after he allegedly launched a string of sex attacks on 18 women during a single two-hour train journey.
The 23-year-old migrant is suspected of groping the women on a suburban S-Bahn German train line between Munich and Herrsching on January 29.
The Eritrean-born attacker is said to have gone from one carriage to the next touching female passengers.
The sickening spree was exposed after two victims reported their ordeal to the police. […] But when police viewed security CCTV from the train they realised that there had been 16 other sex attack victims on the train who had not come forward. […]
Police traced the man to a migrant camp in Starnberg, near Munich, where they found clothes resembling those worn by the man caught on CCTV.
