An Iraqi migrant who forced a 10-year-old girl to watch pornographic films before he raped her is pleading with the Swedish government not to send him back to Iraq.
According to Breitbart, the migrant known as 'Ahmed' was put on trial for raping the 10-year-old girl in an asylum camp. He is said to have assaulted the 10-year-old repeatedly from July to September of last year and also raped another woman in the camp on up to 20 different occasions.
In February, he was sentenced to only six years in prison followed by immediate deportation.
Ahmed met his young victim through her aunt who needed a place for her and her niece and nephew to stay. However, she was raped by Ahmed and to “protect her honour” married him, subjecting herself to further abuse.
Eventually, the aunt found out Ahmed had been abusing her niece and called the police. As Breitbart reports, “Authorities were able to secure DNA evidence and testimony from the young girl that led to the prosecution of the asylum seeker. Despite the evidence, the court chose to ignore the accusations of assault and rape of the aunt, saying that there was doubt about the claims.”
Ahmed is appealing a court ruling to avoid his deportation that would include a lifetime ban from Sweden. No date has been yet set for a decision on the case.
