The mainstream media has been focused on relentlessly trying to destroy President Donald Trump over the past few months. In their quest to pump out negative coverage of Trump, the media has ignored a major news story that should have made headlines:
More than 80 children — including a 3-month-old girl — were rescued during a nationwide sex-trafficking sting, federal officials announced Wednesday.
The effort, dubbed Operation Cross Country XI, led to the recovery of 84 minors and the arrest of 120 sex traffickers, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
The sting, which focused on recovering underage victims of prostitution, ran for four days , from Oct. 12 to 15.
Undercover agents staged operations in hotels, casinos, truck stops, street corners and online websites. The youngest victim was 3 months old, and the average age of victims was 15.
If you Google this story, you will see that it got almost no coverage from major media outlets. It seems that leftist reporters were too busy with their Trump bashing to print a story about this historic child sex trafficking bust. Instead of reporting on this, mainstream media outlets spent the week twisting Trump's recent comment to a Gold Star widow.
When Barack Obama was president, the mainstream media bent over backwards to portray him in a positive light and reported on other news far more frequently. Last year, this child trafficking bust likely would have been one of the top stories of the week. This serves as a grim reminder of how biased the mainstream media is.
