9 celebrity midterm endorsements that backfired on the Democrats

Amanda HeadRebel Contributor

Yes, the Republicans lost the House after Tuesday's mid-term elections, but one ray of light is how many Democrat hopefuls lost, despite (or was it because of…?) high-powered celebrity endorsements.

Not even Oprah, the queen of giving stuff away, was able to turn her star power and personal popularity into a win for the socialist candidate of her choice.

And for personal reasons I've discussed before, I'm thrilled to announce that Jimmy Buffett's backing didn't do one Florida Dem any favors.

I'll run down who supported who, and whether or not I think these results will finally convince celebrities to "shut up and sing.”

I guess the Taylor Swift types will drift to or away from the Reds according to their own proclivities. I Never-ever-ever-never-never-ever, even liked her music anyway, the lyrics were just too swell, keen, and groovy-man.

Trotting out Oprah to shill for Abrams was laughable. Notice how Hussein’s candidates failed miserably!
People don’t care about celebrity endorsements, it’s a racket and, critical thinkers see through it.

I doubt these dim bulbs will learn a thing. They’ll just blame “gun toting right wing nuts” for their candidates’ failures.

They also dealt out their $$$$.
I guess they think they can buy their votes, their candidates and their election.
Texas had to be the most obvious. The so-called abortion supporting catholic (small c) O’Rourke who dropped an f-bomb to express his ffff’ing thanks for his supporters.

To say nothing of the mighty Obama himself campaigning for Joe Donnelly in Indiana…
