On election night, I spoke with Michelle Rempel. The Conservative MP from Calgary--Nose Hill says Albertans have long memories and that's why they've rejected Justin Trudeau.

I hope Albertans grow a spine, start thinking for themselves, and reject this hateful and divisive sort of approach that already cost you the election.
Time for a PC party worthy of respect. Get a real leader this time.
Complaints about the NEP? Well you can thank the supremacy of the constitution for smacking it down. As opposed to PET, where it happened once in 20 years, the courts had to smack down Harper practically every single month for his unconstitutional proclivities.
I hope you are right. But that does not excuse or make up for what the first Trudeau did to Alberta. Besides the power and wealth of Canada will be in the west with its commodities. Don’t bank on manufacturing to pick up. The unions have killed that sector. Imagine, an auto worker getting up to $3,000 a year to help cover your legal expenses in case you get divorced. That is more than a great paying job in India , Japan, or Korea. And the Unions say Labor is only 7% of the cost of the car. What a bunch of bull.
Quebec has gained a lot from Canada with it’s threats of Separation. I guess the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Charles Moulton is correct. The east needs us more than we need them.
I don’t understand Quebec and Ontario. All the Billions of dollars that they have gotten from Alberta. They know it is oil money., Why do they accept it?
Fortunately my Riding ha sufficient memory of the degenerate corruption of the Chretien regime to return a CPC MP with a 2 to 1 win ratio.
It’s amazing that so many Canadians don’t see this election as a disaster. I guess they are the same ones that voted Red.
I would move there in a heartbeat
