No doubt, the extreme right wing will try to reopen wounds 40-years old to try to score points in early preparation for the next election.

I hope Albertans grow a spine, start thinking for themselves, and reject this hateful and divisive sort of approach that already cost you the election.

Time for a PC party worthy of respect. Get a real leader this time.

Complaints about the NEP? Well you can thank the supremacy of the constitution for smacking it down. As opposed to PET, where it happened once in 20 years, the courts had to smack down Harper practically every single month for his unconstitutional proclivities.

Marty Smith,
I hope you are right. But that does not excuse or make up for what the first Trudeau did to Alberta. Besides the power and wealth of Canada will be in the west with its commodities. Don’t bank on manufacturing to pick up. The unions have killed that sector. Imagine, an auto worker getting up to $3,000 a year to help cover your legal expenses in case you get divorced. That is more than a great paying job in India , Japan, or Korea. And the Unions say Labor is only 7% of the cost of the car. What a bunch of bull.
Quebec has gained a lot from Canada with it’s threats of Separation. I guess the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Charles Moulton is correct. The east needs us more than we need them.
I don’t understand Quebec and Ontario. All the Billions of dollars that they have gotten from Alberta. They know it is oil money., Why do they accept it?

Bravo Zulu. Looking forward to having you join us and the western Canada separatist revolution

You can count me in for the separation, Albertans have been talking about this since the 80s. We slowed down the talking once we had an fellow Albertan running the country. There is one thing you easterns keep forgetting you need use we don’t need you.

Alex Armutlu: I fully expect Justin Trudeau to build his pipelines and infrastructure in a way which pleases Quebec. I notice a pattern with what he opposed and supported in this regard, and it looked eerily familiar…

I Congratulate Calgary Nose Hill residents on their collective memories however I am disappointed in not seeing an able rep like Joan Crocket not elected, Calgary Skyview has solidified its status as the city’s official ghetto.

Fortunately my Riding ha sufficient memory of the degenerate corruption of the Chretien regime to return a CPC MP with a 2 to 1 win ratio.

Good job, Michelle! I voted for you again, and I know you will continue to do a great job for us!

Count me in for any separatist party. Remember what the first Trudeau did to Alberta.

Not worried about any sovereignty movements popping up over the next few years. Actually, re-defining Canada’s federation a federation of independent, self-governing regions is something whose time has finally come. Independence movements are breaking out all over the world and for very good reasons. There are good reasons in Canada as well.

Kelvin Grabowsky – the west is home for us – we moved here through the military – bought a farm and stayed – wife says – “Let’s get the hell out of here!” – so we are selling in the spring and looking for a new farm – keep us apprised o developments – my family and hers are ecstatic we are coming home. In truth I am too!

Bravo Zulu I’m all for it, especially after last nights disaster.
It’s amazing that so many Canadians don’t see this election as a disaster. I guess they are the same ones that voted Red.

Stephen Harper. Come back to Alberta. Help us start The Western Separation. Let Atlantic provinces have the welfare recipients

Time for the Western Republic of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia

I would move there in a heartbeat
