#ClasslessPM: Trudeau chides MP recovering from stroke for not using his “downtime”

Brian LilleyArchive

Prime Minister Selfie proved himself to be prime minister classless this week when he told an MP returning to work after a stroke that he didn’t use his “downtime” properly. Yes, he said that.

How on earth can he say that? Didn’t use his downtime!

Prime Minister Trudeau was replying to a question from Conservative MP and environment critic Ed Fast, a well respected, long-time MP making his first appearance in the House of Commons since suffering a stroke.

Fast received a standing ovation earlier, then he asked Trudeau a question about the government refusing to release studies on the impact his carbon tax plan will have on Canadians despite having the studies.

It was a pretty standard question from an opposition MP, nothing personal or biting in it.

Watch as I show you how Trudeau responded by calling what most compassionate people would refer to as “recovery time”, “downtime” instead.

Trudeau’s awful swipe at Fast was his worst answer in the House on Tuesday but not the only cringeworthy one.

But to Trudeau and his supporters, as long as he says and feels the right thing, like diversity is our strength, then I guess everything will be fine.

Maybe we should call him the hashtag PM instead of the selfie PM. One thing we can’t call him after his reply to Ed Fast is compassionate.

Arrogant, yes. Out of touch, yes. Compassionate, no.

Our PM is out of touch with everything. Does it get any lower, probably.
I agree why have question period when it goes something like this. MR. speaker would the prime minister tell us what time it is. (Trudeau) MR speaker to answer the question, we will continue to move forward with our climate leader shit plan.

What a heartless SOB PM Justin is! The least he could have done is welcome Mr. Fast back & ask how he was doing. Life is about more than politics & more than the left constantly beating up & belittleing the right. Basic human decoram should take prescidence over politicking. Every time PM Justin opens his mouth he seems to stick his foot in it. This will not bode well for him come election time. Now lets get a proper candidate for PC leadership in Ontario, Brown is not cutting it!

Space Moose. I heard all the disabled activist are over at the CBC practising their moral outrage about how Ed Fast and the conservatives are making the disabled look lazy by not working through their recov….Downtime.

I was mashing potatoes for dinner last night and the thought to myself "these potatoes have more brains than our Prime Minister.

Evidently Butts didn’t have the fingers up his puppet’s ass in time for when he reverted to true form…

Where are the disabled activists when you need them?

I have not seen much in the state controlled media covering this one.

I guess they have to cover for him once in a while.

How magical! Skippy lectures a sick man on how to use his downtime? Who knows downtime better than the vacationing idjut in the PMO? With all his downtime we should expect a frickin’ genius … I know, me too … LMFAO right now.

Sarcasm and snark is SO underrated.

Why bother tip toeing around, call Trudeau for what he really is: A United Nations Globalist puppet. He says what he is told to say and only what he is told to say. He is an INTERNATIONALIST hell bent on the destruction of the Nation of Canada. If you look closely at him you can see the marionette strings attached. But, the big question is – who’s the PUPPET MASTER???
Need a hint,,, follow the money…

Actually, tell your friends it is now their duty to go out and change other liberal voters. They owe it to the rest of Canada.

Trudeau likes to use the word diversity but DIVISION is more appropriate for Trudeau , like father and like son
Division is Trudeau’s strength
Division by classes pitting classes against classes
Division by regions pitting regions against regions
Division by religion pitting religions against religions

Evelyn Cooper:
That is GOOD news. What made them realize and what/who were they listening to? Or was it strictly their own mortal sin thinking they were right?

My MP was interviewed on the local tv cable station, interviewed by the punk rocker city councilor, who proceeded to say that Stephen Harper was a dictator and Joe Flaherty was no better (my words but you get the gist) and the MP didn’t correct him or defend Mr. Harper or say how much better Canada was when he was PM.
It was hard to tell, especially after he congratulated the liberal party on whatever they were discussing, what party he was an MP for. I wrote to him and asked if ‘whips’ are not allowed to make any comments on or defend the conservative party.

I had 5 Liberal acquaintances today who apologized to me for Trudeau. They shake their heads but get off the topic as fast as they can. I almost feel sorry for long term Liberals who see their Party being shattered by this disgusting fool that they selected.

As the sun sets on the West…the drums reverberate in the distance, ominously.

Another non answer with the usual smirk. Trudeau has liberal speak down to a fine art. Meanwhile Canada gets 5 articles in one day on Jihad Watch. Yes we are screwed.

Meanwhile, in real news, the Wikileaks Vault 7 release reveals rogue CIA cyber black ops spying on political candidates and planting “Russian malware” to cover their hacking tracks, and the Fannie&Freddie scandal breaks as a smoking gun to indict Obama operatives in criminal malfeasance – crickets chirping at CBC as usual but the Rebel is on vacation in Israel reporting ???.
commented 2017-03-08 19:09:09 -0500
This is pretty ignorant and even more ridiculous coming from a trust fund baby who takes so many vacations and days off work.

Peter Netterville that might be giving him too much credit, maybe a wind up elastic band motor is more Justins speed.

I was speaking with a friend about the PM’s classless statement and she said to me,“That guy is two tomatoes short of a thick sauce!” I wholeheartedly agreed, while laughing.

MAURICE POTVIN commented, “He has an agenda, and that agenda is to destroy Canada and replace it with a sharia-compliant member state of a globalist caliphate, the rights and freedoms of individual Canadians be damned. We’re screwed.” I agree especially as there is no conservative politician willing to call him out on what he is wanting to do and stand up to it, the way Trump put forward a counter vision to Obama’s globalist aspirations for America. M-103 is the biggest danger threatening our country.

Hopefully this piss ant will lost the next election. There are still too many voters that cannot see how stupid this boy is.

I still can’t believe that twit is PM of Canada!

Justin Trudeau is a brick short of a load, he is not all there. He too, will need some downtime one day.

Let us all kneel and pray, that when it is Justin Trudeau’s turn for Downtime, that his downtime is permanent.

At this time, we can all sing Hallelujah. Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.
