#EnoughIsEnough: “Children being used as props” on March 14 anti-gun marches

Amanda HeadRebel Contributor

Where will some of your kids be on March 14?

If you said: sitting in a school classroom learning the day's lessons — well, you might want to think again...

On that day, many students are vowing to march for tighter gun control laws in the U.S. in the wake of the Parkland, Florida school shooting.

I have a few questions for these kids, including:

Why does your generation, unlike mine, feel so compelled to kill each other anyway?

It s the same old tired story from the left. I call them paper tigers.
Get a paper restraining order is what they say. Once the thugs see that they will put down their weapons and run Right.
Take all the guns from law abiding people or place more paper tigers to gun ownership.
Again when the criminals hear this they will immediately disarm them selves. ya right.
People die waiting for the left to save them with paper. The paper process will only take a few years.
The left will never tell you when everyone has guns people are very polite.

Andrew i would feel a LOT safer at this University then at one that is a Gun Free Zone.

Andrew is once again playing with the definitions of words. That is what all lefties do when they have no logical argument. Just like unborn babies being defined as “parasites”.

This kid made his own explosives. He didn’t buy them from a government regulated explosives store. And even if he did it would show how ineffective the laws were- as always. Why don’t we just make a law that it is illegal to kill someone. Wouldn’t that be so much simpler ?

Hahahahahahahaha. Hahahahahahahahaha Hahahahahahah…. You are hilarious.!! The only people that consider bomb making an art is terrorists… Fireworks are not considered bombs except maybe in your world to delegitimize the actual work of dangerous people building explosive devices to take lives..
Your tireless in your effort to maintain spin on the topic I’ll give you that…
But at the end of the day spin is just that.. it’s only spin… using words without substance..!! Your spin would be put to better use to convince the weak minds in your circles and the pathetic’s you influence as opposed to minds capable of critical thought.!!
You are tiring and disingenious.!!

Andrew come on girl… You know you’re you are directly avoiding the commonsense logic of my statement refuting yours. When that happens that means you’re out of game.!!

Oh and Andrew, the Utah incident is a shining example of the simple fact that even if you take all the guns away a perpetrator will find another way to kill. "

Except he didn’t, they stopped him before it happened. Which is where the system failed in Florida.

“You don’t have to wait for someone to shoot someone. "
Yet they did, because law enforcement isn’t handcuffed by systematic dysfunction, that never gets fixed because the politicians are paid by people that don’t want it fixed.

Nailed it. The Florida School shooter had many red flags before the shooting took place. The regular suspects did nothing with the knowledge they had. Gun control won’t change that.”
Obeying those red flags would be gun control,

“Nobody uses bombs for self-defence or for hunting… Nobody build a bomb and admires it for it’s beautiful artwork and its functionality… Building bombs is not a mainstream business like firearm manufacturing neither does building bombs employ people across the country in a traditional line of work involving traditional skills like machining, milling and smithing , forging, welding and wood crafting.!! "
It’s hard to argue that a mentally unstable teenager with some huge red flags is buying automatic weapons to go deer hunting. Good luck trying to stop him, though.

Explosives have many legitimate uses, and those that work within it definitely find it an art form and highly skilled trade. People certainly seem to enjoy a good fireworks show, driving to them on roads built by explosives, in cars made from raw materials extracted with explosives. Hell, even consumers get into the act, if all the miniature explosives detonated in celebration of summer long weekends are any indicators.

But, wait, this all occurs within a highly regulated environment. The government knows who is building explosives, and why. This doesn’t hurt the many legitimate users – if you have a legitimate use, you can get a permit. What it does do is gives them the ability to track people who shouldn’t be doing it – as happened in Utah.

The Utah incident’s a great example, actually… building bombs is illegal and they can legally stop and arrest someone for carrying eplosives around before bad things happen. With guns, no such luck, you have to already have shot someone else it’s your second amendment right to carry around killing devices.

Andrew how can you be so stupid…??

Neither can you take your family out on a weekend for the afternoon to go set bombs off and then have a picnic later but many families go out to the range for a day and enjoy an afternoon of firearm practice.!!
I know you’re fairly intelligent so with your argument as you have made it is to appeal to very stupid people.

Andrew, once again you are wrong. If someone threatens to shoot someone they can be arrested. If they conspire to shoot someone, they can be arrested. If they are mentally ill they can be examined by a psychiatrist. I someone suspects a problem social workers can intervene. You don’t have to wait for someone to shoot someone.

A very sensible approach by Sheriff of Dodge County, WI
Here’s what Sheriff Dale Schmidt has to say on gun violence by teenagers:
“Following every mass killing, I ask myself, what has happened to our society? I also wonder what the solution is to ensure our families do not become future victims,” Sheriff Schmidt began his post. “Many have pointed out that years ago, people would go to school and have hunting rifles in their vehicles. Yet, mass violence in schools and other locations did not happen as in society today. It makes me think that there must be a root cause that we are not addressing that has led to this change.”
“It’s my belief that the root cause starts with our youth lacking basic skills including respect for authority figures like parents and teachers, the ability to cope with conflict and the ability to handle rejection,” he wrote, also acknowledging mental health issues at play as well as drug and alcohol use.
“Many have strong opinions about gun control but realistically gun control will do nothing more than place a very small band aid on a much bigger problem,” he stated. “It is imperative that we have serious discussions on what we can do to change the norms of our society and positively impact the decisions our youth make.”

Hard to call them “props” when they’re doing it of their own volition…

Lefties – will we ever be free from them?
Pushing gun control and completely ignoring a kid that follows ISIS and takes a bomb to school is not just stupid and ignorant it is dangerous.
Where were all these virtue signaling morons when there were Islamic terror attacks being perpetrated not just in the US but all over the world.
Here in Canada we have an idiot that was elected into the PM position who completely ignores terrorist attacks and radical Islam and insists on punishing law abiding citizens.
Trudeau and his Liberal cronies are not just fools but criminal fools.
