We also asked what super power would most benefit the Canadian prime minister?

The ability to fly? Incredible strength?

Watch to find out what election issues are important to comic book fans!

(Hint: Marijuana is mentioned...)

PS: In case you missed it, here's our first conversation with FanExpo Canada cosplayers.

Pete Leblanc just made me even madder. Bill Elder is right. Voters need to complete an informed competency evaluation. WTF is voting for the cute guy?

Only informed responsible votes count, the rest propel us towards a zombie nation.

The problem with North American superhero fiction and lore is that it’s not independent of the mainstream narrative.
A lot of what you read in printed comics and animated television shows repeat and endorse what is being broadcast on the MSM evening news.
The people who attend FanExpo don’t follow politics and current events and therefore can only quote what they have casually learned through television and printed media that appeals to them.

And these people are the types of Canadians Trudeau is pandering to? In the words of Bender from Futurama: “We’re boned”!

Wow, thanks goodness that this is the demographic least likely to vote.

I would have to say I believe the reason Canada is doomed is because the average entitled Canadian has such a lack of understanding of reality – they have been protected from the real world for SO long that they have begun to think there is NO danger to Canada.

Their turn to face reality may come at a high cost simply because we have allowed people to perpetuate the myth that all people are like us and would happily come here to become Canadian.

The truth is there are even more people that would happily come here to destroy Canada.

Is it cool to be dumb?

FanExpo certainly does attract a lot of very strange people.

@richardbrinkman – can you fuck right off and stop posting links to your nazi-pig shit bag website? Hmm? Asshole??

Yes, they take everything for granted – without a thought for any responsibility or whether and if any of their actions may impede other peoples’ freedoms or whether their actions could cause someone elses’ injury or even their own demise!

Far too many people have become decadent and have forgotten how to protect Liberty! Liberty does not come free of responsibility and the abscence of the knowledge of self defence and protection of one’s country!
