"Feminists" silent on imprisonment of Iranian women

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, Iranian Democracy activist Erica Kasraie returned with updates on the stories of two Iranian women who've been persecuted: One for dancing, and another who waved her hijab in a protest.

Maedeh Hojabri, an 18-year-old gymnast, was imprisoned and lashed for making videos dancing to Western music and violating Iran's strict Islamic dress code.

Shaparak Shajarizadeh was sentenced to twenty years in prison for removing her headscarf in a public protest.

Why are the feminist celebrities and politicians silent on their persecution? They never pass on an opportunity to bash Trump, what makes Iran immune to their criticism?

“Feminists” ignore FGM and other heinous cultural treatment of women in Islam, also, in their eyes Sharia law is benign.
