#FireMitchell UPDATE: 10,000+ signatures -- and one outright lie

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Our #FireMitchell petition now has 10,000 signatures and counting.

It's bad enough that Alberta's new NDP premier, Rachel Notley, clearly doesn't understand the energy industry.

Now, in my latest update, I have more evidence of Mitchell's hatred of Alberta's oil and gas business.

For the sake of Alberta (and all of Canada), we can't have someone like Mitchell working in the NDP's Ministry of Energy.

PS: We've been asking people to email the Energy Minister to tell her to fire Mitchell.

I'll show you the response those emailers received.

It contains a blatant lie about Michell's history as a registered anti-oil and gas industry lobbyist, and I have the proof.

If you haven't already, please SIGN OUR PETITION and take other action at FireMitchell.ca.

Why is commenting on your site so difficult? It’s like every other day I have to “sign in”…but the sign in process is slow and clunky….which reminds me….your Gavin McInnes dude is a dark spot on the Rebel team…
Have a nice day.

How ndp……." Imagine the “Carbon Footprint”. And the left has the nerve to lecture everyone else!

The NDP is an absolute T-R-A-I-N W-R-E-C-K for Alberta. Notley knows nothing about the energy industry or the importance to the economy of Alberta and Canada. She is already starting to make Alison Redford look like a better choice.

Jim, WE did not vote for the NDP. I doubt there is even one person that posts her on this site that voted for the NDP. So if you do not want to “listen” to the whining, then don’t read the comments.

You got what you voted for, shut up and suffer, I don’t want to listen to your whining. Hello Saskatchewan.

Oh, maybe she did. I just can’t keep up to all the rules, there seems to be a new rule or law every single day and that’s what is so crazy about these progressives is that they seem to have an endless supply of rules. That’s why Mitchell has to go because he will legislate the oil industry to death. I suppose that’s why they are no longer elected officials but they are our RULERS

Kelvin, I thought Christie was going to change that?

Ron Voss, you can’t bring wine into BC guess they will have to buy it there

Thanks for the updated video Ezra. Mitchell must be taking lessons from Hillary or someone equally good at subterfuge. Never been an anti oil lobbyist ? We see you Mitchell for what you are, and we’re watching you.

VLAD JOHNSON thanks for the link to the G&M article which gives us some insight as to how Notley conducts Alberta’s affairs: Ms. Notley says she intends to sit down with B.C.’s Premier Christy Clark “over a glass of merlot” (presumably from an Ontario winery brought along by Brian Topp on his commute from Ontario) to discuss the Kinder Morgan pipeline project from Alberta to B.C.’s Lower Mainland.

Bravo Zulu – It is the height of hypocrisy that he will flying back and forth. And just guess who will be paying for this fraud?
commented 2015-06-20 15:18:18 -0400
If we can’t fire these lobbyists, can we at least buy them nice GREEN bicycles to commute back and forth to work with. C’mon give me a hell yah

Eileen – the fall out won’t be local to AB, it will effect our entire economy in Canada. Our standard of living will be declining, so everyone should start preparing for it. What we need is another majority conservative government federally, and then we need them to push through the pipelines. Bring in the army to control the anti-everything crowd, and let’s get these pipelines going. There has been more than enough debate, and this industry has been regulated to death already.

And looky what the slob and snail has to say about this alberta communist pig – rachel head pig notley – http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/rachel-notley-alberta-has-a-chance-to-be-a-national-leader-again/article25045978/ – more MSM pumping the communist way. Rot in hell JUSTIN GIOVANNETTI – mindless pig lover.

Should be fun to see how far the NDP nazis push big oil around before they or their family gets fit with concrete shoes.

Deborah Graupner, you hit the nail on the head!

Eileen, unfortunately the NDP voters will take the rest of us down with them.

Jimmy said, “And like the Tim Hortons “boycott” – this petition will have ZERO impact, but knock yourself out.”

Thank you Jimmy! I feel so much better now that you have given us your most honoured doctoral, highly successful, business man’s approval. I really don’t think we could have moved forward on this petition without your most perfect blessing.

Whew! I feel much better now!

Albertans voted her government in! Let them eat cake!

I don’t think these attacks are just US based, I think it is more sinister than that. This is a global attack on Canada, and I believe the UN is directly involved. Even the pope is on the side of one world government. And that should cause a lot of people to sit up and start paying more attention.
commented 2015-06-20 01:47:28 -0400
I think I’ll amend my comment from May 6: “Alberta, closed for business.” I’ll change that to “Canada, closed for business.”
commented 2015-06-20 01:09:53 -0400
Same, Deborah, but from Ontario, more years here than my birth province also. I came to be a part of Alberta and its potential, not to tear it down and bring it to its knees. There will be nothing left to come to.

People – Keep doing whatever you can to get the word out there to Albertan’s and Canadian’s. To those of you who disagree, wait, just wait! If you think this will not affect you – you are dead wrong! There’ll be no jobs out west for you to come to; your energy cost are about to increase, your provincial fiscal budget is about to increase due to the lowering of equalization payment because the money just won’t be there! You will also feel the effects of Alberta’s “Anti” Oil & Gas Govt.!! In as much as Alberta depends strongly on the oil and gas industry – so does the rest of Canada!! If you want to believe the rantings of anti-oil lobbyist (funded by unions and US lobbyist groups) then perhaps you are deserving of the fallout that is about to happen. Read between the lines and you will come to see that the US is on an embargo to cripple our Country’s economy in favor of it’s own economy and to control Canada’s natural resources (i.e. water, oil and gas)! Do some research of your own and you will see this is true. The Rockefeller Foundation who greatly funds these lobbyist have been doing this kind of “behind the scenes” atrocities for more than a century. It’s all about power and control. The Alberta NDP Govt. leaders are indirectly being misguided and manipulated to this extent and they haven’t a clue that they are! Nonetheless. ignorance is not a good defense! I did not vote NDP and I never will. I moved out West from NL in 1979. I, as many Canadians benefited from the economic growth of Alberta. I have also experienced economic decline and disparity at the hands of the NDP govt. while living in the Provinces of Manitoba and BC. I have lived in Alberta much longer than I did in my native Province of NL and Alberta is my home! (I don’t just work here, collect my “pogy stamps” and then go back to the Rock – I Live hereI),I like many others, have reaped the benefit of living in a Province of economic growth. I like many others, left my home in search of employment! Alberta provided that for me and my family, and for that I have much to be grateful for!

“I can’t help but feel something is rather undemocratic about someone from another province holding any key government position that is not in their own province. ", No kidding Chad!
commented 2015-06-19 23:03:00 -0400
I can’t help but feel something is rather undemocratic about someone from another province holding any key government position that is not in their own province. Since when was the A-NDP the O-NDP? Federal NDP is also different, and most of the people that don’t do well in the Federal, go to their Provincial equivalent, and in the province they reside.

Personally, I figure if it is Provincial in level, then you should be living in that province for at least 5-10 years before you can take any key positions should your party, in that specific riding, get elected.

Ezra – let’s start using bill boards and exposing the lies to the public, who normally only get the “national enquirer” news from the post media.
