“First Man”: Why audiences “are staying away in droves”

Kurt SchlichterHost of Take That

If other countries are so smart, why haven't they gone to the moon? In First Man, Hollywood wants to whitewash away a uniquely American achievement, and audiences are staying away in droves. When is Hollywood going to learn that we aren't taking their guff anymore?

Maybe sometime in the 2030’s or 40’s we’ll be able to leave high Earth orbit… That would be something!!!

Alberta Maga,

I have no problem with people making up their own minds, but it take away the credibility when one American Rebel contributor who was against the movie – now says it’s a love letter to America and Kurt here – another American, is saying the exact opposite. I wonder if Kurt actually saw the movie, because it couldn’t have been more about American pride.

Yeah, I heard about it. First thing I thought was thought was "bet the writer and/or director is Jewish.

Writer – Josh Singer.

Every. Single. Time.

Conservaties in America need to wake up to who is really f—-ing your country up.

Sad how people on the left are so ingrained with sheephood that they think everyone else is unable to think for themselves and that Rebel media is a dictatorship like the Liberal media.

Nicholas Conklin i know it is hard for you to understand but people make up their own minds and unlike the CBC and MSM they can disagree.

John Galt: I agree, diversity divides. Common values unite.and these are based on support for our country. Political entities come and go but the nation remains. Canada is our nation and we will strive to preserve and promote it despite attempts to degrade it. God save Canada.
Congratulations to the US of A for their lunar achievement.

Glad to read the movie is tanking. I was 14 years old on that day and driving with my family down the Massachusetts Interstate on the way from Windsor to Cape Cod. We listened to it on the radio. It was on every station. As the lunar module touched down, most of the drivers pulled their cars off on to the shoulder of the highway. People were celebrating. People were crying. The hankies were out full force. It was a great and defining moment for the United States of America.

Yet these left coast liberal pricks decided to leave the image of Neil Armstrong planting the American flag out? I find this supremely insulting and I am CANADIAN. Americans must be SORELY pissed!
Boycott Hollyweird liberals and their SJW movies. Don’t give them a nickle.

Mr, Schlichter: I salute you, sir.Credit should always be given where credit is due and this event in history was an American event and achievement.(No,I am not an America,I am a Canadian……).
Having lived through the sputnik,Cuban missile crisis,Soviet Union era,I have always been thankful that Canada’s geographic location was and is where it is.Yes,Canada did contribute to this venture and Canada has made many other contributions to other historic ventures,as well as making it’s own mark in various areas many, many times.
What we need are more Canadians who will speak for Canadian achievements as you speak for American achievements rather than apologizing for, ignoring or minimizing their value.Take pride in your country.Diversity is not our strength, unity is our strength and that starts with walking away from politicians or any group that promotes division through diversity. This is what we presently have in Canada.
