(FLASHBACK) Doug Ford at Rebel Live: “There's a populist movement going around the world”

Rebel Staff

On June 17, 2017 — a few months before he became leader of Ontario's Progressive Conservative Party — Doug Ford spoke at our big Rebel Live event.

Ford talks about his late brother Rob, the former mayor of Toronto; politics as "customer service," his prediction about Donald Trump; and much more.

"I can't stand politicians," Ford said to applause. "Because they're all phonies. I'm a businessman."

So absolutely refreshing to hear from a down-to-earth man, unfortunately there are only a few of these blessed human beings. 98% of politicians are self-absorbed, self-serving and wasteful and couldn’t care less about any of us. Wish and hope he beats wynne-bag out of the park.
On another subject, too bad macalister in Manitoba caved to in to that suckling trudoop and his carbon tax, always knew he was a red tory with no cahoon. I can’t that bast Rd gave in to that imbecile. Would have been nice to battle evil trudope with Alberta, ontariowe, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and I believe Nova Scotia.

Doug Ford is great! The Federal conservatives aren’t paying enough attention to populism!

I would love it if Ford could hire Brad Trost as his Minister of the Environment, once he is Premier.
Catherine Mckenna would go crazy.

Really, Ron? “Go” crazy? How would anyone tell the difference?

But, seriously, you’re right. That would be some entertaining.

Doug knows and respects his base. Scheer needs to take a lesson if he is smart enough to stop listening to his handlers for a minute. Scheer is getting bad advice. What a refreshing concept in politics—customer service.

The Laurentian elites who poo poo and the Toronto clatch of piggies hate him because Doug shows them up so badly. I am so happy for Ontario and I am heartened by the possibility of a new day dawning in Canada.

Ron Joseph, what a fantastic suggestion; the Minister of AirMiles would certainly come across even more clueless than she does now.

Looking forward to a new Rebel interview with Ford where you can address and challenge his platform positively rather than watching him constantly being pilloried by the leftist MSM.
