“Get Out” a “fun thrill ride” of a movie — but doesn't deserve Best Picture Oscar

Ben DaviesRebel Host | Rebel Reel Reviews

Director Jordan Peele certainly deserved to be nominated for a Best Director Oscar for last year's Get Out, his first movie. But does this well-crafted and unique film deserve to win Best Picture, too?

WATCH as I explain why the film's controversial racial agenda actually makes Get Out a less successful thriller than it could have been.

It’s a great movie, but fair enough if it doesn’t interest you.

I didn’t complain, I said I would skip it.
Watched trailer….no thanks!

Fair enough, but then you are in no real position to complain about something you have not seen. At least Ben watched it and still gives it a 4 out of 5 as far as the whole movie goes.

Funny how trailers and book jackets give you a sense of what you are paying for….if it doesn’t sound like something that interests me, I take a pass!
I won’t throw money away just talk “intelligently” about a topic that does not interest me in the least.

Just like Ben Davirs did, why don’t you watch the movie first, before condemning it. I never understood people who complain about movies or books or whatever, without having watched or read it first to be able to talk about it intelligently.

I don’t worship anything and I never said anything about the Oscars. I love movies. That’s it.

Obviously it did so well at the Box Office because it supports the Left WingNut Agenda. This is true Hollywood, demonizing the White Race. I would not pay to see such a racist film production, I can watch about the same thing by turning the TV on and watching Mainstream Media. Hollywood has for a long time had a problem with telling the truth, they much prefer to sell lies.

Vincent the Oscars is part of the point of the article. And you seem to worship Hollywood so i assume you think the Oscars mean something.
Superman was an awesome movie , Christopher Reeve will always be the best Superman.

I didn’t say anything about award shows.

I am not a big Star Wars fan. Superman 1978 was my Star Wars growing up.

Vincent all awards shows are insider and elitist run, do you not realize that? Do you think the Grammies actually award the best artists? LMAO! They never have and never will. Or do you think Annie Hall was better than Star Wars?

I figured most people who love movies have seen this by now. Seems a little late to do a review.

I will skip it!

I think it’s a great movie period. I think you are reading too much into the film having an agenda as if a team of movie execs got together to plan this. It is not unlike The Stepford Wives, but told through Jordan Peele’s perspective as a black man.
