“I don't care about ISIS!” High school teacher screams at Rebel reporter at Toronto shooting memorial

David MenziesMission Specialist

A teachable moment? As the Rebel asked Torontonians to weigh in on the latest act of terror to hit the city, a high school teacher loses it for reasons that remain unclear.

Apparently, bringing up the fact that media outside of Canada are reporting that the killer, Faisal Hussain, may have had an ISIS connection is “racist”.

WATCH as a teacher attending the memorial with her children, berates The Rebel for doing journalism by asking uncomfortable questions about the murderer’s motivation.

PS: She “knows her amendment rights,” even though Canada doesn’t have constitutional amendments; America does…

Wow, that vile hate filled person claims to be a teacher allowed to be around young people?
She claimed to have 2 political science degrees and yet she thinks Canada has 2nd amendment rights?
I feel very sad for her children and what will become of them.

I am shocked and horified to think that this femal is a “teacher” educating our children. One would hope that she will be investigated with regards to her manner of teaching and her own personal beliefs which it may be presumed she passes on to those who must listen. It is to be assumed that she demands that her students listen to every word she says yet completely disregarded the words of the Rebel reporter only to change them to her own perceived racist comments yet absolutly no mention of race was menioned by him. With regards to the murderer, hopefully the truth will be made known whether it be a mental illness or another factor, however, many others who have a mental illness do not set out to murder inocent people.

Tamie -Putinski-Zandebelt , Please publish a warning on links like the Terry Glavin article . I almost threw up reading the tripe this reporter spews.
Glavin refers to the killer as being “severely mentally ill and now dead”.
A severely mentally ill individual that appeared to keep his act together well enough to travel abroad to terrorist countries, hold at least one steady job and had a group of friends. Something just doesn’t add up and conflicts with the profile that was so hastily released by a Muslim activist representing the family. Self serving to say the least.

After listening for a couple of minutes I suspected she was a public school teacher. Then she said that’s exactly what she does for a living! Unfortunately she is all too typical in public education. That is who our taxes hire to indoctrinate our children, just as she implied.

I applaud you David. You were spectacular.
This woman, with 2, I repeat 2 political science degrees (what she didn’t understand the first one?) has clearly demonstrated she is educated beyond her level of intelligence.

Good job David.

Off topic – Caitlyn Coleman has moved back to the US – undisclosed location with the 3 children, a fourth on the way. She has finally put a lot of distance between herself and Joshua Boyle. An Ottawa judge gave her custody and permission to leave Canada with the children. She is no longer wearing Islamic garb.
The other two victims of Joshua Boyle remain under a publication ban.

Liza, it is truly obscene. Yes, investigate the family, his friends, the mosque, his trips to Afghanistan and Pakistan, and the doctor/s who treated this “mentally ill” terrorist.

Warren Kinsella had this to say to CBC yesterday:

Tammie, I saw that. So obscene. It must be gut wrenching for the families of the victims to see this. I really hope, and I said this last time, that in a while some of the victims families and the surviving victims themselves, come forward to express their feelings to the public about some of this misplaced sympathy.
I want the shooters parents investigated as well as all his friends and the Mosque his family is connected to. The msm is so offensive.

……….has had a long history of mental illness suffering bouts of depression and at times was prone to angry outbursts.
You can fill in the blank with a name and this will be the narrative for the next attack that had nothing to do with you know what….. clue starts with an I and ends with the noise you hear when a door is closed hard.

Seems to me she’s a product of left wing indoctrination of Canadian university education and she has adopted her worldview based on reports from fake news. Unfortunately, there are tens of thousands more like her in Canada and many live in Toronto. It is sad she is a teacher.

The Toronto attack was an Islamic terrorist attack.

Nietzsche is my favorite atheist. He was an honest atheist unlike the atheists today who are dishonest.

“How can a person rationally justify any commitment to timeless values whatsoever without implicitly invoking God?” Friedrich Nietzsche

Many people today justify their commitments to values without rationality. This angry-for-all-the-wrong-reasons leftist, is a perfect example of why Canada is in decline because they don’t want their illusion of the failure of multiculturalism coupled with their despise of Christianity and Judasim and the lie of the cult of Islam to be exposed for what they really are.

Looking at The Rebels on Twitter section it seems the Vets for CPC has posted the teacher’s rant. I don’t think this is going to end well for said teacher. As Kurt Schlicter might note, the left is not going to like the new rules.

Kyle to clarify. Their ‘religion’ is Islam. The theocracy is Islam. The followers are Muslim. Islam is a religious, cultural, social, political ideology, Muslim are the people who identify with the Islamic doctrine. Please forgive my nit picking. Its not criticism.
You are absolutely correct that anyone who knows anything about Islam knows that ‘Muslim’ is not a race. As you point out, many races of people are involved, they are not all Arab.
The left hypocrites are trying to redefine and broaden the meaning of the word ‘race’ and ‘fascism.’ When they call us fascists, it is pure projection. They are the true fascists. They want everyone to shut up. They are also (self loathing) racists themselves.

And she’s a teacher. Shocker!

Yesterday I couldn’t spell RAYCIST but then I joined THEREBEL and now I are one.
Actually this teacher that confronted Menzies would have made a great leader in one of the barrios where Chavez set up his Bolivarian Circles. They would meet and ferret out any non-Chavistas and harass them into submission. Or worse. She is a true communist and its scary that young minds are exposed to her viewpoints.
God Bless the victims but this teacher obviously has more concern for Menzies attendance than she has for the attack itself and the victims.

Oh my and CBS is like Fox News? Maybe she should try the comedy circuit?

“You’re racist” “you’re a fascist” seem to be last resort comments by people with low aptitude of what is going on. This woman with 2 2 degrees, teaching Canadians doesn’t know we don’t have amendments in Canadian law. She is not aware that ISIS is a religious based military force, and their religion is Muslim. Their are many that follow Muslim faith, Arab, Caucasian, Black and Asian to name a few. Questioning if the motivation behind a mass shooting were religious based is not racism. You would think an educated person with 2 degrees would know that.

This woman needs help! And she teaches? Dave, I am amazed by your composure in the midst of this insane rant.

I came across this video and Julie Mora has some excellent observations about John Tory and his statements; like so many other Canadians, she too is wanting the Islamic ties to be thoroughly examined. Msm in Canada are definitely distorting this.

Gosh darn. Do not expect me to rationalize or actually think about something. I hear the first 30 seconds of a comment and react. Said reaction is how any situation affects me personally. As for correcting or changing anything – that is up to others, not me. Somebody do something, just do not ask or expect anything from me.

So very true, Hyacinth!

Logic and a cool, calm demeanor is not part of the left … and make sure to scream you point over and over in an irrational rant not letting anyone respond.

Yikes, I could not handle talking to such an irrational bully.

This is the problem with the world today. A Ditz that does not listen and open up her ears before she engages her mouth with her own indoctrination. So sad. Toronto was my home town, this one needs to go and live in one of her Socialist countries before she let’s a barrage like this go on public display. Sad if she really is a teacher.

Refaat Makkar, possibly I didn’t get my point of view across clearly, as you seem to have misunderstood it. I agree with you, and would be interested to know more about your experience. One of your comments caught my eye. I would be very interested to know what country you came from in which Christians suffered from terrorism that was labelled “mental illness.”
I’m going to repost your comment here, as I think it was an important one.

“Do you believe this story, mental illness, we suffered for decades from terrorism against Christian and the ready comment always before any investigation the criminal has a mental illness history. I hope it doesn’t apply in Canada.”
