“If you can’t walk, you can’t dance”

Gavin McInnesArchive

A couple got a standing ovation on the Ellen show after they did a "dance" routine. Except when you're in a wheelchair, like the woman was, you're not really "dancing."

(LANGUAGE WARNING)

I believe that handicapped people deserve to have the same rights everyone else does. I'm all for making buildings wheelchair accessible.

But if you can't use your legs, you can't dance.

And everyone pretending you can is what's wrong with our society...

You don’t need legs to dance well. Proof (my daughter)…

Admit it, you’re wrong.

I bet she is a better dancer than you are Gavin. This was without doubt the stupidest thing I’ve seen from you, or on the rebel.

Gavin — you have hit an all time low with this video. First the “Why I Hate Jews Video” and now this. The correct word to use is “people with disabilities” not “handicapped”! You’re the one who has got the handicap because you love picking on the most vulnerable —a sign of a true bully. Ten years ago, I saw a live performance of a wheelchair Tango and it was just as beautiful and passionate as it would have been if the dancer had used her legs. Try watching this high quality dance routine and see if you will change your mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jq33QB_osxc. I can’t understand why you are still on the payroll.

It’s like watching women’s soccer and calling it, “soccer”. About the stupidest thing I saw at the last women’s world cup was “set pieces” taken 5 yards outside of the box and everyone lining up like there was a snowball’s chance in hell they could score from that distance. Hey, play the game, do the activity, enjoy yourself, but stop insulting the pro’s by pretending it’s the same thing. It’s “reality” T.V. delusion, running amok.

I normally follow the rebal. I just spent 2 minutes wasting my life watching this so called form of journalism. I actually feel dumber. Lets put square tires on a effing wheel chair.

“…people that clap at anything a handicap person does as wonderful?” “No, that wasn’t talented.”

Are you kidding me?! That was very graceful. Gavin, I’d like to see someone back over your legs with a truck, then have you try to beautifully move your far less beautiful body to music in a chair. You’re stuck on the word dancing itself, but can a baby not dance in a high-chair?

I’ve been watching every video of yours for about six months and so far, was highly entertained, and didn’t disagree with most of your views. But this is revolting. I don’t mind if anyone is offensive, as long as it’s funny. All offensive thing can and should be funny, but this certainly was not.

I’m starting to wonder if you’re getting tired of working at the Rebel and trying to get fired to get out of your contract. First Lauren, then Jack, and now this filth. I’m cancelling my subscription to the Rebel.

And no, I’m not a handicapped person myself, or an SJW. In fact I’m a hell of a lot more red-pilled than you are. I’d call you a bad Catholic, but so much sexual sin and cuckery to Islam has overtaken the Catholic church that you still look shiny by comparison.

P.S. Jesus is Lord; Allah is Satan

as a disabled person,i agree, its super cringy but they seem happy it should not be seen as a bad thing, still, calling this full fledged dances, would be like saying dabbing is dancing

Well I felt very uncomfortable watching all that…

Are clown suits de rigeur for that ‘genre’?

For some people, Gavin’s sense of humour is lost on them.
A disabled friend of mine never refers to it as “dancing” when she rolls out on the floor to move with the music; and, she doesn’t insist on choreographing a routine with another person…

I love your sense of humour, glad you’re a member of Rebel staff.

I don’t get why the Rebel keeps Gavin on the payroll. What a waste of space.
