“Is This a Picture of Mohamed?” NEW video by Prof. Jordan Peterson

Rebel Staff

Frequent Rebel guest Professor Jordan B. Peterson's provocative new video "addresses the issue of Islam in Canada, and in the rest of the West."

To protest the possible passage of M-103, the Parliamentary motion that would make "Islamophobia" illegal (without even defining it), please join Ezra Levant, Faith Goldy, a number of Conservative Party leadership candidates and others at our EMERGENCY rally in Toronto on Wednesday, February 15.

As Canadian Mongrel thanks Dr. Peterson from Peace Country, AB, I thank him from East Central Alberta, where one of our excellent conservative MPs immediately replied to my email to say he does not support M-103. He agrees with the majority of constituents who have contacted him about M-103 and says, “The consensus view is that the Criminal Code of Canada and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms provide the necessary protections for religious communities in Canada.”

Professor Peterson…from a buddhist perspective it really doesn’t matter if it is a picture of Mohammed or not. It is a false image representing somebody or something and is therefore a false image and an “insult to Islam” worthy of destruction UNESCO be damned.

I think I’m coming down with a case of rational fear towards a particular peaceful religion. But I’m not allowed say, so I won’t be able to warn you.

Christ was a bastard. Good luck proving that. On the other hand it wouldn’t be hard to prove that Mohammed was a murderous, pedophile, rapist, blasphemous, satanist false prophet with sociopathic narcissistic tendencies

What is all the fuss about,You all know the Liberals vetted the refugees.Heck they even had a Afghan minister in charge of stalking the voting system.Even Obama praised her for escaping Afghanistan.Oh wait a minute turns out she was from Iran.Oh what the hell she was vetted by who and just where is that person now. What a joke.

I find it amusing how the left are up in arms claiming “M-103 is only a motion”. Interesting select choice of wording (“motion”), the optics must truly be bad if they necessitate changing terminology to meet public acceptance. Interesting how past Liberal “motions” morphed into laws.

Historically – “Green Paper – a statement by the government, not of policy already determined, but of propositions put before the whole nation for discussion. Like a White Paper it is an official document sponsored by the Crown. It is produced early in the policymaking process, while ministerial proposals are still being formulated. Many so-called White Papers in Canada have been, in effect, Green Papers, while at least one Green Paper – that on immigration and population in 1975 – was released for public debate after the government had already drafted legislation.” (Read about the 1966 White Paper and the 1974 Green Paper).

Sure, just a “motion”, if you say so LOL.

Thank you from the Peace Country Dr. Peterson. You help us to remove the paper bags from our heads that we have to wear because of the Alberta Premier, Alberta Invisible Energy Minister and Federal Global Red-Dress Minister coming from our part of the country.

Brilliant and very powerful video by Prof. Peterson. We have to fight back in time for 2019, when we can send Mr Trudeau(p) off to spend more time with his tyranny friendly jet set friends. I have sent an e mail to my MP who is an NDP social justice warrior-and where I live on the west coast the left is in a substantial majority anyway. She will vote yes no matter what. She is more concerned about Trump’s alleged “misogeny” than she is about women being killed in the name of the prophet whose image must not be shown. Once the Caliphate has been established, her primary concern will be that the victims of beheading fully reflect the diversity of people in our country.

Good one, Dr. Peterson!

Indicative of how badly the swamp needs to be drained! This Liberal government is completely ruining our country with their ridiculous Identity politics. They love to invent problems where none exist.

The MP behind the motion says she’s been surprised by some of the hyperbolic online reaction. “It is a little troubling,” Khalid told BuzzFeed News. “This is not legislation. This is a motion.”
She thinks we are stupid.

The Junior Girl Guide who introduced this Motion should be asked to define the difference between Racism and Fear, as applied to the Death Cult. Why dose she not introduce a Motion against Hate Speech? If hate speech were stopped, it would silence every Imam in the Country, hence she She is only interested in Islamophobia.

The fact that Trudeau supports her, is an insult to all Canadians. Trudeau and the Liberal Government are treading on dangerous ground.

Our government is becoming just a bit too ‘all encompassing’ for comfort. Justin’s Liberals need to back off.

Mark Holland and John Aldagis are naive. There is all sorts of dangerous language in there. This ‘motion’ leaves us open to all sorts of intrusion. These MP’s are all brainwashed or so cowardly that they don’t dare go against the ‘group’ think.
This is not cool.

‘quell’, such an insidious word.

Great post Paul, thanks to all postings of idiotic replies from their MP’s.

Here’s the very first email I sent to Mark:

Dear Mark:
In regards to Bill M-103, ALL religions must be protected equally under the law.
commented 2017-02-14 17:29:31 -0500
Hello folks:

As you may know I sent my MP, Mark Holland an email regarding M-103 (see very bottom of this email). As you may not be aware, M-103 is a motion put to parliament to specifically protect Islam when it comes to talking about religion. It would make it illegal for anyone to say anything against Islam. What’s most disturbing though is; an Islamist Iman here in Canada could spew all kinds of hate when preaching to his faithful and that would be okay, but if you or I were to even question his spewing of hate we would/could be charged with Islamophobia and hateful speech.

We already have laws in Canada to protect against hate speech. This singles out one religion as needing more protection than the others (which I find hilarious in and of itself in that that particular religion is ancient, misogynistic, violent, endorses slavery, homophobic, barbaric and literally not in alignment with Western values that are the basis of our current society)…Islam Good! Christianity & Judaism Bad! Really???

Directly below is Mark’s response for your review.

Subject: RE: Bill M-103

Dear Paul Taalman,

Thank you for writing to my office on the topic of M-103 that was introduced by Iqra Khalid. To begin I want to take a moment to review MP Khalid’s Motion below,

“That, in the opinion of the House, the government should: (a) recognize the need to quell the increasing public climate of hate and fear; (b) condemn Islamophobia and all forms of systemic racism and religious discrimination and take note of House of Commons’ petition e-411 and the issues raised by it; and © request that the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage undertake a study on how the government could (i) develop a whole-of-government approach to reducing or eliminating systemic racism and religious discrimination including Islamophobia, in Canada, while ensuring a community-centered focus with a holistic response through evidence-based policy-making, (ii) collect data to contextualize hate crime reports and to conduct needs assessments for impacted communities, and that the Committee should present its findings and recommendations to the House no later than 240 calendar days from the adoption of this motion, provided that in its report, the Committee should make recommendations that the government may use to better reflect the enshrined rights and freedoms in the Constitution Acts, including the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.”

As you can see noted in section (A) the goal of this motion is to help reduced tensions in Canada and it is done by in part (B) studying all forms of systemic racism and discrimination in our government. The motion does directly mention Islamophobia as this has become an increasing problem in our society, but the aim is tackle all forms of discrimination. It is important to say that this does not impact your Charter of Rights and Freedoms protected free speech. I also want to note that this is a motion, and not asking for a law to be introduced. A motion is a ways of making declarations of opinion or purpose and encourages the government to act in a specific direction. I think a motion such as this is important and should be supported.

Best regards,

Mark Holland

Has Bernier abandoned m-104 completely or is he still willing to support it if the term ‘Islamophobia’ is omitted?
This motion should be abandoned in it’s entirety.

correction,, ‘motion’ I should say, not law.

2014: Montreal imam calls for genocide of Jews
m-103 is a one sided law which appears to apply to non believers only. Designed to force us to self regulate.

“Of, relating to, being, or imposing a form of government in which the political authority exercises absolute and centralized control over all aspects of life, the individual is subordinated to the state, and opposing political and cultural expression is suppressed: “A totalitarian regime crushes all autonomous institutions in its drive to seize the human soul” ( Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr.)”
Sound familiar?

There many violent verses in the Quran and the Hadith. Moderate Muslims would like to reform Islam. How can they even begin to attempt to reform it if no one can criticize it? Our MPs are being duped and they are too stupid to see it.

WALTER CUNNINGHAM, your response from your Liberal MP is similar to a response I received from CPC leadership candidate Michael Chong, who is not my M.P., and said he would support M-103. Embedded in the motion is the declaration that the ongoing terrorist attacks around the world have noting to do with Islam!

Maybe Mr. Bernier is seeing only now for the first time that Canada can only be governed equally and fairly..
with all the new guests in his country but more importantly his two provinces he may realize that the next successful p.m. will require the west as a powerful ally.!!

Professor P. as usual, your an island of common sense, in a sea of the despaired. I sent a “letter of concern” off to my local lib. MP regarding motion m-103 and recieved this as a response. To his credit , he responded in a very timely manner. Though I do not agree with his stance… Hi Mr. Cunningham,
Thank you for reaching out to me about Ms. Khalid’s Motion, M-103. While I unequivocally agree with you about the value of free speech in Canada, I personally do not feel that the motion is a limit on this right. M-103 addresses a rising anti-Islamic sentiment, and responds to dangerous and potentially violent undercurrents of thought amongst a slim minority of Canadians. It should be noted that this motion was tabled before the tragic killings in Quebec City.

I should also draw attention to the fact that this is a motion, not a bill. The distinction is that while a passed bill does become law in Canada, a motion is a non-binding resolution in the House of Commons. What M-103 aims to accomplish is to condemn racist anti-Islamic sentiment and initiate a study in the Standing Committee on Heritage on ways to address the issue.

I was recently quoted in the Surrey Now newspaper speaking about the bill in which I stated my intent to support the motion. I believe very strongly in the right to free speech and expression, but stand with the Muslim community against violence and damaging rhetoric.
