"Jobs, Justice, Climate" protesters admit to owning cars, flying -- while union-rented school buses idle nearby

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

I went to the big "Jobs, Justice & Climate" rally in Toronto over the weekend.

As usual, none of the protesters I spoke to could clearly articulate why they were there or what they believed in, after they ran out of their rehearsed talking points.

When asked simple questions, they got flustered and even hostile.

I was shoved a bit, and even got called "the devil" by an atheist!

There were some friendly folks too, but the bottom line is that they all said they were against fossil fuels and "climate change" -- but they also admitted to driving cars and flying.

Demonstrations like this aren't political so much as they are a kind of religion for these people.

They're a way for them to try to atone for their white liberal guilt.

UPDATE: Get the FULL STORY of the Toronto Star reporter who wrote about my encounter with her and her daughter at this rally -- and how our video proves that what she wrote in the newspaper isn't true.

If we can make electric cars affordable for average people, people would buy electric cars for sure. That’s where the government should step in to use policies to encourage electric cars and discourage gas cars. Well, we are hijacked by the fossil fuel which form our current energy infrastructure that is not sustainable. How do we solve the problem?
commented 2015-07-14 17:24:57 -0400
my concern is, after the end we burt all fossil fule, what we leave for our next generations to come. Will this planet be too hot for them to survive? Can they move to another planet?

Hypocritical Protesters! Once again proving the saying, “There is no cure for stupid!”
commented 2015-07-10 02:49:39 -0400
Ezra – thank you doesn’t even begin to express my appreciation of your ongoing efforts to tell the truth behind the news. These protests are exactly as you described — opportunities for ignorant, leftist environmentalists to expiate their carbon sins. They’re nothing short of plenary indulgence fairs that attract the blindest of hypocrites.

Jamie MacMaster – hilarious!!!!

And here’s a reminder about the efficacy of DDT and the tragic loss of life that resulted from sanctioning countries that used it to combat the spread of malaria: http://www.nytimes.com/2004/04/11/magazine/what-the-world-needs-now-is-ddt.html

The thing that sets these alt- lifestyle warriors apart from the well adjusted majority is that there is no idea bad/stupid/dangerous/self-deprecating enough for them to reject if it is sold with guilt and stapled to instant moral absolution – essentially they are all sanctimonious preeners, trotting their insincere morality out in public for an airing and to rub it up against less ethical beings. They haven’t the inherent humility to realize what an uncivil construct claiming moral superiority without making the requisite sacrifices is.

Ezra nailed it -all these so called philistine political causes which deserve no public credibility like diet and lifestyle choices, is always propelled by the same white suburban gilt ridden bored yuppies who need to fill their intellectual/spiritual emptiness with some perceived moral crusade. Pathetic more so than laughable.

The Hypocritic Oath:

I swear by Gore the diviner, and Suzuki the magician, likewise Strong and Soros, and call on Mother Gaia to witness, that I will observe and keep this underwritten oath, to the utmost of my power and judgment.

I will reverence my masters who taught me the art of hypocrisy. I allow them things necessary for their support, provided it comes from someone else’s purse, and will consider all fellow hypocrites as brothers and sisters. And for one day each year I will preach the virtues of my masters’ art without actually practicing it myself; and I will impart all my acquirement, instructions, and whatever I know, to everyone’s children, as to my own, even though I am a complete and utter phony.

If this is how they are going “…to atone for their white liberal guilt.”, what the heck are they going to do when they figure out how wrong they are about that too?
As sick as I am of the hypocrisy, ignorance and self righteous chauvinism of these people, who I am certain are mostly well meaning…in their minds, I will never get sick of seeing Ezra point out that hypocrisy, ignorance and self righteous chauvinism in his easy going and cut to the quick method…of course they’ve made easy targets of themselves.
As far as actual effective techniques for a limited-exposure, alternate news agency like THEREBEL – especially a conservative one – to really effect change or counter the pre-existing social engineering, pointing out their hypocrisy, ignorance and self righteous chauvinism and using their own words and faces to do it, is effective. Think viral…
Stick to the basic truth and just keep hammerin’ it home!

What a difference in protesters from these fools and REAL people protesting Kathleen Wynne’s Sex Ed Curriculum…..speaks volumes.

Hey Ezra,
I just want to say how much I love when you do the protest coverage. Give the goofy people airtime to expose their own hypocrisy and intellectual dishonesty. I think this is the first one you’ve done since Sun News signed off. More please. You’re the man.

This is Ezra, and conservative media, at their best, being brave and inquisitive enough to go out to leftist demos, and talk with people. This makes for fascinating viewing.
commented 2015-07-08 12:58:35 -0400
Most of these folks are terminally “Shallow” Thinkers . . . I am amazed that they even found their way to the Demonstration.
They say some of the most stupid things and then don’t want to be included in the report.
And they ALL drive cars and live in warm fossil fuel heated homes . . . . hypocrites ALL ! ! !
And the Clueless Labor Unions . . . how many Union Jobs are there is a Fossil Fuel FREE WORLD? I know the answer to that one . . . NONE ! ! !

I admire you Ezra for keeping your focus and cool with these loonies. I personally would have been tempted to slap them up the back of the head to try and knock some sense into them. And isn’t that Porter woman full of herself? If she wants to be a real reporter then study the stuff The Rebel reporters do, honest, factual reporting. She should go back to writing stories for her high school newsletter!!

If we are able to laugh at ourselves (as the video helps us to) then that’s when we can seriously make change.
commented 2015-07-07 20:43:24 -0400
Ezra, you are the bomb! We need you back on the cable news network to debunk the likes of pseudo journalists like Ms. Porter and her lying left wing loonies who will go to any lengths to impose their views on the rest of us, by whatever means. Despicable.
commented 2015-07-07 16:26:51 -0400
I think we should devise an ‘opt-out’ list of things people cannot use, if they are going to be a true climate change activist (and not a hypocrite). The list would be far shorter if we gave them the things they could use, but would be less of an impact. As the human race, we all went through that a long time ago …. it was called cave-man days. It was very cold in the winter, and very dark at night.

I am sure that Star reporter would have a very quick change of heart if she had to stand there and watch her daughter shivering in corner on a cold dark winter night. Just saying …

The Alberta oilsands are responsible for 0.00000322048% contribution to the CO2 in the atmosphere of the planet.

Yea, I can see how the Alberta oilsands are the worst contributor to CO2 non-issue.

The ‘looney left’. Its better than watching the comedy network. Great job Ezra.

I did some calculations, for carbon footprinting, against driving a car 200K over flying from Halifax to Havana and it worked out it would take about a lifetime to match one flight. So all those climate warming alarmist, why don’t they all stop flying, get a sailboat and rows, or just do their anti-west, anti-capitalism, anti-life, conformity over skype. But hey, what do I know, I have to work for a living and pay the ever increasing taxes to justify to them, my disgusting life.
Once the David Suzuki’s and his ilk, lead by example, I will have little respect for them, as they tell others how to live while they leach off of other people’s money and travel the world like rock stars.
I know I have done more for reducing my pollution footprint than any of those climate capitalist.
220 people on the plane from Halifax to Havana
Footprint = 0.44 tonnes of CO2e per person
Footprint = Total for plane 96.8 tonnes of CO2e

You might want to edit your videos down and pick out your best videoto get to your point. I fell asleep after the first 2 minutes. Here’s a sample of what I mean to keeping it short but to the point during a protest against EDUCATION CUTS in front of the Alberta Legislature. https://youtu.be/pA22_s2sye0

Richard Brinkman, what a wonderful propaganda video full of all sorts of lies and obfuscation! Maybe you can get the socialists to believe that garbage, but not anyone with any sort of intellect and understanding of the “global warming” issue.

You don’t believe that garbage, do you? Tell us that you just posted the link to that video for humor.

Ezra, the mother of that little girl is a Toronto Star reporter who wrote a scathing article about your interview. Even though permission was given, you have been made out to be a major bully. I’m happy to see your side. Look up her article, I would love to hear what you have to say.

Thank You Ezra! Once again you have managed to successfully expose the hypocrisy or these environmental do-gooders!

Liza – my thoughts exactly……Ezra responded to that little girl’s attempt at “gotcha” question (prompted by her mother) – and YES – she was satisfied with Ezra’s reply. YES, OF COURSE Climate Change is real…..you have heard of the ice age? Classic. Cheers.

Hey Ezra, you were so good, I hope that a lot of people see you video, it would help them realize how crazy radical envioronmentalists are and how important oil and gas is. They do not want to give it up! I nust add though that this group were pretty mild!

Thank you for doing this and keep up the great work with therebel.media!

Indoctrinated fanatics “preaching to the choir” or “preaching to the faithful”. Do any of these protests actually sway peoples’ opinions?
