On last night's show I reported on Trudeau’s Minister of National Revenue asking the Canada Revenue Agency to “suspend all action in relation to the remaining audits and objections that were part of the Political Activities Audit Program, initiated in 2012.”
The CBC reports that, “Thursday's suspension affects 12 audits, of which seven have resulted in an intention to revoke charitable status.”
These aren’t conservative audits by conservative staff checking for liberal opinion.
They are audits by tax accountants and auditors, who have sworn an oath to be neutral civil servants.
If the Liberal Party is willing to reach right into the Canada Revenue Agency to stop non-partisan audits of their friends, do you think they’d hesitate to reach into the CRA to start an audit of their enemies…?
