Since our first investigation into how Syrian refugees were behaving in the Canadian hotels that were housing them, I’ve been slammed with emails, Facebook messages, and tweets from people who want to know which hotels were housing the migrants.
I finally have the names of ten Ontario hotels.
I've reported previously on emails from exasperated hotel management to the government, telling them of their concerns for their staff and guests, and complaining about the behaviour of the refugees.
To see my reports of all of that horrible behaviour, go to RefugeeInvestigation.com.
I don't know if the directive came from hotel ownership or if it was part of a government contract with the hotels to not divulge to other paying customers that these hotels were acting as de facto refugee camps, however, if the TripAdvisor reviews are to be believed, guests to these hotels had no clue, until it was too late.
I'm not trying to ruin a business, but I think consumers deserve honesty before they spend their hard earned money, so today, I’ll show you some reviews left by guests of the Ottawa West Travelodge, and the Kitchener Howard Johnson.
I reached out to both hotels for comment, but neither hotel responded to my request for information before the deadline for this video.
If they do get back to us, we’ll update you.
Tomorrow, I’ll bring you more hotel names so that you have the information to make an informed decision about where to spend your hard earned money.
MAURICE POTVIN, please state your source for the statistics. This will make your comment useful to all of us.
I have stated my source many times in the past. I don’t feel I should have to repeat it every time I post. They come from the website, TheReligionOfPeace.com. I use their data and add up the total. You can take my numbers or leave them. That’s up to you. I couldn’t care less. I just post the data..

We spent a night at that hotel in February 2017. Even though we live in Ottawa, we stayed there because the website said there was a wave pool and a slide. When we got there the wave pool, and slide were not operating because we were told it was the Family day long week-end. We enjoyed the pool anyway and there was some people of other nationality but we did not have or see any issues. It was a lower end hotel so it is not a big lost for the city.
