Yesterday I told you about a small but very revealing Twitter spat between NDP leader Thomas Mulcair and Liberal MP Carolyn Bennett, about how to correctly refer to Canada's First Nations people.
I also showed you that on its own very website, the Liberal Party violated Bennett's arbitrary "apostrophe" rule, which made her attempt to claim the moral high ground even sillier.
But look: Since then, someone at Liberal headquarters rushed over and corrected their website copy, I guess to try to save Bennett any further embarrassment.
My main point still stands:
Anybody can argue about trivia on Twitter, but that does nothing to fix the real problems faced by the First Nations community.
