Liberal MP “proud” to pay more for gas after Notley’s carbon tax hits

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Calgary Liberal MP and Veterans Affairs Minister, Kent Hehr, wants you to feel ashamed for not enjoying having to give the government more of your hard earned money.

The carbon tax hit Alberta wallets for the first time January 1st, but instead of relating to Albertans who resent this tax, uppity Liberal MP Hehr, was bragging about how good it made him feel.

He tweeted a picture of himself filling up his van and said:

“Actually, I’m very proud to be paying for this tank of gas. It’s my first fill-up since January 1”

Ya, you unemployed Albertans, try to be more cheerful while the government takes more cash out of your family’s pockets.

Kent Hehr makes $251,900 per year. In March, as the unemployment rate was skyrocketing in Alberta, Kent Hehr gave himself a raise of $4,400 per year.

Alberta has 200,000 people unemployed. Calgary has a 10.3% unemployment rate, the highest in the country for five months in a row.

But Kent Hehr is boasting about how good it feels to spend more on gas.

Can he be anymore out of touch?

I hope someone FOIP’s Hehr’s office for the paperwork where he claims this gas receipt for reimbursement.

I understand this gentleman is the minister of Veterans Affairs… Don’t you think the veterans would be better off with a veteran administrating to Veterans Affairs…?? Just saying…!!

This Guy is an idiot, he looks like an idiot, in fact he looks like an inflated version of Justin Trudeau. This means, he must be an idiot.

A drooling liberal fool…can these left wing monkeys get anymore stupid?
commented 2017-01-09 19:37:15 -0500
Let’s face it the only reason why this clown made cabinet is because he is challenged. The “Because it’s 2015” cabinet is all about optics and not substance, kinda like Junior.

Who else but an imbecile or a Liberal would want to give even more of their own money away to the government. Just throwing it away. I’m sure an American, if shown this, would laugh at the stupidity then wonder if it were a joke. No it’s the Canadian way… 39% Polite and stupid.

“… the trip your shirt just took my eyeballs on.” Haaahaha
commented 2017-01-09 19:19:08 -0500
Does he wear those shirts so he will be found if he gets stuck in a snow bank? Seriously, it makes you wonder if his handicap goes beyond his legs. Hey Kent, we don’t all make your salary or can count on a government pension. You are probably writing off that gas so it comes straight out of our pockets anyway, you pig at the trough. What’s not to be proud. Liberal loser.

Kent is proud to be spending spending money on the carbon tax which we reimburse him for. You couldn’t make this stuff up. The people of Calgary Centre have some great representation.

D. Jerome Hauk, Kent Hehr is a lieberal. I believe I answered your question.

When he pays his first cent of tax then I will be happy, but since he works for the government he pays no taxes.
commented 2017-01-09 18:33:06 -0500
We know he’s physically challenged, but mentally too?
commented 2017-01-09 18:26:13 -0500
Another liberal joke. He can pay mine too, if he likes it so much. Jerk!

Good for Hehr. I am glad he is proud to pay more as his virtuous bit on a healthy six figure salary he only earns as being a crux for selected Baby Doc shots. Not to mention he fills up on the tax dime through an expense account.

I would really like to help him to be more virtuous by paying my carbon extortion, and all Albertans’ carbon extortion. How does one establish a petition to show him Albertans want him to be completely virtuous? I know once he sees how much we support him in being virtuous, he will donate both his expense account and salary, plus take out loans to our carbon extortion.

I have a problem with overpaid political hacks virtue signaling on my dime.
He must know that no one wants to pay more tax, especially to something that provides no real benefit to the country or the world.
First of all, the rest of the world will not follow Canada’s lead set by Narcissistic infantile Prime Minister.
Secondary the premise that this tax is based on is not supported by scientific proof, rather being based on terror card computer models.
Third the empirical data tells us that the effect of this tax will not even exceed natural variabilty for the temperature.
Fourth the transfer of productivity from Canad’s high energy efficiency industries to production in countries with significantly lower energy efficiency
And finally the economic destruction created will take Canada decades an decades to recover from after the current group of idiot-o-logical leftist governments are turned.

Big mouth Kent Hehr should have stuck to his word and beat his fists on the table until all the pipelines were built. Another liberal full of bull shit, I hope Calgary have had enough of him and turf him next election. They are “proud” to rob us with a phony tax.

I am reluctant to make a comment about someone who is handicapped. Our father was a quadriplegic for the last three years of his life. Fortunately for us his handicap did not affect his brain.

Keep on them SHEILA , your in fine form , keep kicking down doors and turning over rocks , keep unkempt Kent in your cross heirs , can’t miss with that shirt

This guy’s riding is adjacent to mine. I have seen him in coffee shops, always it’s a pride meeting or some other lefty-loon whine-fest. Just another Butts/Trudeau water boy. Enjoy while it lasts, Kent.

Anyone who is happy to pay more tax is missing a few marbles.

Oh please, Rachel Notley, take more of my money! You deserve to spend my money, I certainly don’t!

Oh, how I miss Ralph Klein and Stephen Harper!

He could be even more “proud” if he scooted around to various service stations offering to pick up the additional cost of the carbon tax incurred by motorists.
