Of all the jurisdictional responsibilities a province has from highways to healthcare, Amir Khadir, a politician in the National Assembly of Quebec, apparently thinks his time is best spent championing the ludicrous boycott, divestment, sanctions movement against Israel.
In his lust for the BDS movement, Khadir, who represents Montreal’s Mercier riding, can’t resist playing the Jewish conspiracy card.
In a pro-Palestinian documentary making the rounds called #Quebec4Palestine, Khadir states:
“The dynamics of politics is completely controlled, when it comes to the Palestinian issue… by the Israeli lobby.” (...)
“Unfortunately, as we know, money talks a lot in politics… In that case, the pro-Israeli – the pro-extremist politics of Israel – lobby is very strong.”
And this isn’t the first time Khadir has caused tensions in the Jewish community.
Watch as I share some of his history with this type of behaviour.
B’nai Brith Canada is now calling on Khadir to apologize to the Jewish community after using several anti-Semitic tropes in the #Quebec4Palestine documentary.
I wonder if the good people of Mercier knew what they were getting when they elected this anti-Israel social justice warrior?
And now that they are aware of his true colours, will being an anti-Semite help or hinder his chances of getting re-elected?
