'Quit being Chicken Little' Stacey Dash burns Leonardo DiCaprio for climate change Oscar speech

StaffRebel Columnist

Stacey Dash completely ripped Leonardo DiCaprio to shreds for his Oscar speech in which he went off the rails about man-made climate change.

During his speech he said, “Climate change is real, it is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating. We need to support leaders around the world who do not speak for the big polluters, but who speak for all of humanity, for the indigenous people of the world, for the billions and billions of underprivileged people out there who would be most affected by this. For our children’s children, and for those people out there whose voices have been drowned out by the politics of greed.”

Dash wasn't having any of it.

“He reminds me of Chicken Little, the bird who ran around the neighborhood and disturbed everyone 'with her foolish alarm',” she wrote.

After taking on the Oscar-winner's views with statistics, she added that DiCaprio should get his priorities straight.

“There are people 10 miles from Leo starving, stuck on entitlement. Twenty first century NAZIS to deal with and North Koreans playing with nukes. He needs to get his priorities straight. I would leave him alone, except that his rhetoric isn’t cheap,” she wrote.

I don’t watch any of these liberal shows anymore, and haven’t in more than 25-years. The left love to slap themselves on the back, and tell others how important they are.

Ugh! The Oscars :-(
Was entertaining back in the day when the likes of Bob Hope or Billy Crystal made a fun evening out of it. Nowadays, the movies and fashion take a back seat to political correctness as every A-lister climbs onto their soap box to moan about their pet social injustices right from the opening monologue through to the end of the show.
I wish everyone would just take their gold statue, say a few platitudes, mix in some witticisms and then go back to their seat. It shouldn’t be an attempt to try and educate everyone about racism, religion, climate change, feminism, political ideologies, fracking, medical marijuana, assisted suicide, LGBT issues, abortion, cures for diseases, GMO foods, physically chal… lllen…. (yawn) zz.. zzzz…. ZZZZZZZZZ!

The sad thing is it just helps to cement the lie into weak and lazy minds., ‘well duh…of course climate change is real, Leo Di Caprio wouldn’t say it if it wasn’t true!’
He’s 41, having a mid life crisis and he wants to be adored and revered. He needs more. He has jumped on a bandwagon he thinks will get him there. He should have stayed in school.

Shut-Up and act!
Leo is so stupid he made a statement years ago when making a movie in southern Alberta that the chinook he experienced was “proof positive” of global warming!! Keep smokin that electric lettuce Leo and keep your nose out of science!

This bun-head seems to think people care what he thinks. As soon as I see the self-important gang show up and start going on about the climate, I know which pile of crap to file them in. I would never watch anything this bun-head’s in again. My boycott list is getting longer and longer.
