“Scrap net migration targets after Brexit”: Confederation of British Industry

Jack BuckbyRebel Contributor

The Confederation of British Industry is suggesting that the government should be looking at scrapping its net migration targets after Brexit.

Not only that, they’re trying to position it as a way of better controlling our borders.

Give me a break. It was not so long ago that the CBI was endorsing a new system of free movement. I know what these guys are up to.

Capitalists in Britain have long relied on the import of cheap immigrant labour from abroad to reduce production and labour costs. For this reason, British capitalists routinely lobby government to relax or drop altogether its limits on immigration numbers.
I wrote about this, and other aspects of Capitalism as a failing economic system, in my Blog piece (17-7-18) “Capitalism: Success or Failure?” (Do not bother to check the link if you are 100% an uncritical cheerleader for capitalism).
I support free enterprise. When it morphs into uber-capitalism of the sort that the Confederation of British Industry represents, I have my reservations.

Muslims need not apply. Only Africans with college degrees will be considered…. Whites? Forget it.

Of course big business wants to get rid of white labour, they demand a working wage.
Once Brexit kicks in, politicians will be able to make a fortune controlling the ethnicity of the labor force by depressing wage levels.

I remember when Britain was strong, proud…..and mostly White.

No I am not a racist but I object to the thought of being ruled by savages in my own country.
