“See something, say something”? Here’s what happens when you flag “blind” Middle-Eastern men taking photos in a Vancouver mall

David MenziesMission Specialist

In this day and age of random terrorist attacks, how many times have we been told by authorities to “keep an eye out for suspicious activity”? You know, “see something, say something”?

I can’t help but notice how often citizens are “punished” or otherwise “shamed” for doing precisely that, depending of course on “who” is behaving suspiciously and our reasons for considering the behaviour suspicious, as we saw in the case of the San Bernardino shooting.

Closer to home, I look into a recent event at a busy Vancouver mall which has left some clamouring for an investigation or a Royal Commission on racial profiling. I still have some questions about this strange story but bottom line, not only is the world getting more dangerous, it’s getting increasingly complicated when it comes to addressing the danger when whether or not someone has done the right thing, is highly dependent on the highly selective and complicated rules of political correctness.

I’m not buying what they’re selling! It’s not normal to walk around taking pictures of entrances, etc.

Sam Young, what could be less suspicious than blind men taking pictures, especially when the treatment they came for was available to them thousands of miles closer to their home? Remember, they consider us infidels, idiots, and with our current leader throwing open the doors to them with a red carpet, they are correct. Now they are “cleared” to carry on. The laughter and cheering back in their homelands must be deafening.
BTW, you didn’t answer my question. Why are they taking pictures from inside of the entrances/exits instead of the attractions within?
commented 2016-01-26 02:26:17 -0500
Don’t you think a real terrorist would be just a little bit less suspicious?
commented 2016-01-25 19:53:11 -0500
They should never have apologized.
Neither should we have apologized for suspecting them and STILL suspecting them.

Sam Young. If you are a tourist, or these three blind men, and you take pictures at a mall, wouldn’t you take pictures of a feature or display or something interesting to view later? These three blind men were taking pictures of the entrances/exits, from inside. Why? Let me guess, you would be the one taking a picture of the underground parking level at West Edmonton Mall, instead of any of the hundreds of photogenic and interesting scenes inside. Geez, that’s not suspicious at all.

So— if you happen to see a Muslim, with a beard , wearing dark glasses , with a white cane, taking pics of the plane that you about to board——- Not too worry. He just wants to see things, real close -up, so that he doesn’t trip and hurt himself.

On the Ezra Levant show, Ezra had made a comment about those three Muslims taking pictures, where he implied that there was something not so innocent going on. I am glad to see the rebel address this story again, but it could be more apologetic. Additionally, I would like Ezra to make a statement on this, instead of Menzoid. It was not Menzoid who shot his mouth off, it was Ezra.

And instead of blaming things on the reputation of Muslims and terrorists, try being more open to the challenges the disabled have to face.

Jim Norwood, that is a good video at the link you posted.

It will not be long before gangs of Muslims will start to hang around in Malls and Grocery Stores, just to scare people, it will become a pastime for them, frightening shoppers. If you think they are suspicious and call the police, you will be accused of racial profiling or of being Islamophobic. Should you decide to ignore them, that’s fine but will you return to that store again? These people in their Clown Suits, want to scare people, with little effort they could empty a whole shopping plaza, if you let them. Do not let Bastards grind you down.

If they are all nearly blind, who drove the car?

" catch 22" Bomb boy trap.

I want to know if the police deleted the pics from their camera. What their reasons were for said pics. And if the police have put them on the RCMP list to watch!!

David. There was no mistake! Being cautious is never a mistake. His presence here for eye surgery, may simply have acted as perfect cover for those back home. And he’ll be able to see again shortly. And he may not be the one carrying out the attacks. And the other two can see just fine. No, there’s was no “mistake”. Fire back at the SJW’s, and do NOT admit “mistake” 0 EVER!!

ROBERT CAUGHELL , even the CBC reported that they were blind. Blindness comes in varying degrees.
However, I agree with you – they were not blind. They lied to the police and investigators so that their actions would be considered innocent.
David is NOT fear mongering, he is relating an event that we should all be concerned about, and he did a dam good job.
I still believe that those three were up to something suspicious and basically got away by lying. The police and politicians are so afraid of offending these Muslims that they will readily agree with anything they say, and it is perfectly OK for a Muslim to lie if it advances their agenda.
Muslims know how the police and politicians will react to them and they exploit it very well.

ELTON BRAUN commented seconds ago – just rape-fugees. Nothing to worry about. Move along.
commented 2016-01-25 14:28:59 -0500
ROBERT CAUGHELL commented 20 mins ago – yes, we get that you are a minimum wage paid blogger whose job it is to spew from the left, but really, is tolerating and promoting these rape-fugees (until they blow something up) really helping you?
commented 2016-01-25 14:28:20 -0500
I heard the “valid” reason on CBC. They like to take lots of pictures when they travel to new places. (Without their wives of course). Sounded even more suspicious.
commented 2016-01-25 14:23:56 -0500
And I might add. You wouldn’t catch me in that mall. I see a lot of malls losing a great deal of business over these kind of things. We know what Islam is. And we aren’t taking any chances.
commented 2016-01-25 14:18:42 -0500
If I see something i’ll be reporting it. You are damned right I will be. I am not going to have something like that on my conscience,in the event of something happening.

@ Robert Caughell

Proof of your statement please. Oh, but we are supposed to take your word for it?

We have to watch the 99.99%.
commented 2016-01-25 14:07:53 -0500
Sorry Menzoid, this was not “just a mistake”, it was actively looking out for the safety of citizens and no apology is needed,
commented 2016-01-25 14:05:03 -0500
They were not blind, the police investigated and the men had a valid provable reason for taking the pictures. Lets be on guard but not fear monger like DM et all. I guess the truth and facts do not matter to this bunch of “journalists”!!!

Ever since the clock/bomb boy’s hoax, I’ve been expecting an increase in feigned suspicious behaviour. In addition to supplying the perpetrators with the ability to display great moral superiority (which Muslims love to believe they have) while they prepare their lawsuits, it results in clearing the way for themselves, and/or others, to proceed with the real thing.
Additionally, I’m led to believe that at least one of these three lied when giving their reason for entering this country.
Furthermore, they then claim that they were here for a consultation with a holistic medical practitioner. Really? They traveled half-way around the world for that?
Also, regarding “see something, say something” why did the Vancouver mayor apologize and toady up to them? Apologize for what?
Finally, the so-called police investigation that cleared them was never completed to my satisfaction.

who brought us this paranoia ?

Engineered by the socialists who are partnered with islamic terrorists – and PM Butts is complicit.
commented 2016-01-25 13:14:11 -0500
Of course this is racial profiling.

Virtually all terrorists in the world are muslim. They largely have brown skin.

I avoid cities in Canada now and have been for some time. Politicians and cops are happy to let things blow up – it’s good for cops/lawyers and bigger government business.

Let’s all have an inquiry now, shall we? Meaningless crap, but all the usual suspects get their cut.

It’s the growth economy don’t cha-know.
commented 2016-01-25 13:02:53 -0500
This is the new upside down lefty world we live in. No apology necessary. Muslims are committing 99.9999% of all terrorist acts and we’re supposed to worry about profiling? This belongs in the same file as the fake clock bomb hoax. They knew exactly what they were doing and it all went according to plan. Wait for the lawsuit.
