“Six grand for THAT?” Check out those McKenna Paris photos you paid for, Canadians

Rebel Staff

Look, those $6000 photos of Trudeau's Liberals at the Paris Climate Conference are fine. But an intern could have taken them. No need for a pricey professional photographer, but then again, these are the Libranos we're talking about...

Amarie Deets makes a couple of strong points. First, something that most of us were unaware of, that in one year, 2012, Harper’s cabinet ministers’ drivers logged in $600, 000 of overtime — above their standard income.

Then the reminder, and we should be reminded of it, that Harper had disdain for Forces veterans and showed it in many ways. Trudeau seems young and naïve, but I notice he has said nothing to disparage our veterans as Harper did so often.

AMARIE DEETS: Speaking of getting facts straight, grab your umbrella for I am about to piss on your parade. The cost of the liberal long gun registry fiasco was in excess of $1 Billion. ( from a CBC website, to keep you happy). If you add in the cost of re-doing all the computer system in New Brunswick when the liberal brain trust screwed up at their first attempt, and all the other related cost, it comes in at about $2 Billion, and you can find this out if you want to prove yourself wrong. Couple questions for you:
1: Will Trudeau’s infrastructure investment follow OBAMA’S shovel ready jobs mantra that amounted to ??? Check and see how that actually worked out, better hope junior does a better job.

2: Yes your selfie king will help out the aboriginals. In fact he is of to a a flying start, he was able to hide the hierarchy and Chief’s TAX PAYER SALARIES. Good with that Amarie? I doubt if the Band members are.

3: A robust public broadcaster. I thought you were portraying yourself as someone of intelligence. You obviously wouldn’t care, but I do not want MY tax dollars to go to support the propaganda wing of the LPC.

I mentioned he said she said in my original post, indicating mud can always be tossed back and forth to no apparent good. When you are still paying for Justin’s welfare tourist liberal voters years into the future, I hope you are happy, if one of their knives doesn’t find you first.

And actually DEETS, I passed grade 1 with honours. What happened to you, get left behind? Maybe sharpen up your reading skills, your mouth seems good at preceding your brain.

Dump em all

What happened to Amarie Deets? We were just starting to have fun?
commented 2016-08-24 18:13:27 -0400

You like that at Bravo?

Let’s try for another laugh. Harper never spent money onhousing, transit, health care, and the CBC Deets?
commented 2016-08-24 18:06:04 -0400
Deets – LOLOL!!!!!!!!

Even the name is a hoot.

Rather than discuss the topic at hand, best to try to get it off the rails.

Another lefty deflector, denier and loser.

I wondered when one would be along.

Remember folks – what the libranos are doing is OK

After all Deets thinks the world leans to the left which is best and probably bows to the east 5 times a day to boot.

NNAUMBUA FARRELL – It depends what the money is used for. Harper didn’t do any good with the money he spent. He didn’t put it toward housing, transit, health care, ANYTHING. He used taxpayer money to fight veterans, sick moms, partisan ads, and PMO spin doctors. Therefore BAD MONEY MANAGER. Trudeau is spending on services that Harper neglected or drove to the ground. It takes money to fix a Conservative mess.
Is that clear enough for you, “bud”?
commented 2016-08-24 17:35:42 -0400
So let me see if I’m hearing this right Deet. Adding billions of dollars to the debt is a sign of bad money management? I just want to get that clear bud.
commented 2016-08-24 17:23:38 -0400

Yeah, yeah, yeah….I have heard all this baloney before. The Liberals will waste the money as they always do and we will be picking up the tab for years to come. I the meantime, they will continue to enjoy $1,400.00 limo rides on us.
commented 2016-08-24 16:51:18 -0400
Robert McClelland – Yes but Trudeau’s billions will go to infrastructure, affordable housing, transit, health care, a robust public broadcaster, and help for First Nations people. What did we get under Harper? Coast Guard and Veteran offices closed, gutting of the CBC and gutting of all social services, but hey, we also got almost a BILLION DOLLARS in partisan advertising and a stupid Harper media channel (24/7 anyone???) that NO ONE watched – even the CBC got better ratings than that crap.

Throwing out accusations about others is an old deflection practice used to focus attention not on the issues at hand but to smear the others and obfuscate!

Junior will run up 128.5 billion debt in less that half the time of Harper. Harper was in power ten years.
I will not defend his record. I think he spent too much. Just because Harper overspent does not justify Junior’s prolifgate spending at even a higher rate.
commented 2016-08-24 16:30:59 -0400
D.H. Chaisson, the internet is filled with articles on the Harper Conservatives spending like drunken sailors on leave., but their kool-aid drinking apologists will never cop to it because they can’t accept responsibility for their own actions (so much for conservative values!!).
commented 2016-08-24 16:27:10 -0400
Robert McClelland, According tour conservative shill David Akin from Sin Media, Stephen Harper added $128.5 Billion to the debt. Conservatives as good money managers is a myth.

With the pathetic shit-show of CPC leadership candidates, and dim bulb Kenney driving his fat ass around Alberta trying to get an approval rate of over 5% (LOL!!!) for the moribund PCs, I’m so looking so forward to at least 8 years of Liberal rule. Vive Trudeau!!!
commented 2016-08-24 16:13:06 -0400
The boy blunder spent 9 billion in his first month in office on his way to a projected 2016 deficit of 30 billion. The Liberals are still the reigning spending champs. Six thousand for photos, twelve thousand for dining for three in Paris, one hundred thousand a month for Junior to fly on governments jets, it all adds up.

Dale Warren, You can call us Lie-berals all you want but you don’t get conservative without the word CON! Or if you prefer Conservative Reform Alliance Party otherwise know as CRAP. Fitting!

David White The actual cost of the long gun registry was $90 Million at the time it was pulled. Its PROJECTED cost was 1 billion. Get your facts straight. Education can be your friend. Start with Grade 1. They’ll teach you how to read there.
Now let’s talk about the OVER $750 MILLION DOLLARS in ILLEGAL PARTISAN Economic InAction Plan ads by the corrupt Stephen Harper gang.

@amarie . . .
“There was also finger-pointing between the NDP and the Liberals after NDP leader Thomas Mulcair accused Liberal MP Bob Rae of “subterfuge.” Parties agreed in 2010 to end a rule allowing MPs to send the flyers outside their riding, but the NDP notes that Mr. Rae now gets around this by placing his flyers in envelopes.
The free mail-outs – which are covered by so-called “franking privileges” – are used by all parties in the House of Commons.”

Been going on for decades in ALL parties loon !
But only the Lieberals stole 250 Million and gave it to their friends in Adscam !

And now the feckless and clueless Justin Butts is driving the big Canadian bus into the Ditch . . .
Low intellect voters? Vote for the insane left . . .
Conservatives are better educated, more affluent and understand Economics . . .

I meant Tony Clement not Joe Oliver. All old white men conservatives look the same
commented 2016-08-24 15:36:37 -0400
Rona Ambrose spent $27,165 in 2013 & $15,542 in 2014 on ministerial photo ops and Joe Oliver defended the $2.3 MILLION DOLLARS the corrupt Cons spent on their photo ops as a NECESSARY GOVERNMENT EXPENSE. But I guess that makes no difference to the low-intelligence posters on this site. And here’s my link as proof, stupid ass-hat Con losers:

DH CHAISSON you are a pathetic moron. He said -she said. What about the $2 BILLION the liberals wasted on a STUPID long gun registry? What about ADSCAM? The conservatives could not waste as much money as the liberals ever, even if they tried. The NDP would be the only ones that would have a chance. Keep licking Turdos ass and when all is said and done, and you are broke, and a caliphate knife is at your throat, ENJOY!!!!

DJBT, the singer??, the shite and the walking cigarette

If that is in fact all the photos or the quality of photos taken, whoever approved it and paid for it with our tax dollars needs to be fired.
This is the epitome of flagrant and waste of Canadian tax dollars. Hell, its easy to waste someone else’s money .

Expenditure management has been a big hot button issue in the federal government for at least 15 years, probably longer. All expenditures are expected to be fully scrutinized by the individual authorizing the expenditure, not just for cost but the source of the item or service, can the government supply the item or service from within, justification of requirement. The example of McKenna and her photographer on the Paris trip is a prime example. Her bureaucrats in finance are obligated to advise on the cost, source and justification and they failed on all accounts. There can only be two scenarios here. The financial expenditure expert or department comptroller did not advise McKenna that she was not following financial expenditure regulations which is negligence of performance of duty. The other scenario is that McKenna was advised that this is a breach of regulations and she ordered her people to make these arrangements anyway. In either scenario the same regulation is being broken, it is just more serious as McKenna is the overall budget manager. It just proves that the Liberals will do what they want because they know there will be no consequences. Even when they get caught, the resulting consequences have little effect.

Hospitality is another extremely sensitive issue with lots of heat and light. Hospitality is the provision of food and beverages and gifts such as hockey tickets at tax payer expense. Due to criticism of past boondoggles the government has instituted regulations that require extreme high levels of approval and due dates that are very hard to forecast. Justin and the drinking of alcohol on government flights is the prime example. In this case, Justin as prime minister is the approving authority but I can guarantee there is absolutely no justification for these expenditures. The serving of government funded alcohol is severely restricted, such as a foreign leader having dinner with Justin. Serving of government funded alcohol on a flight is a big no no. Again, there will be little or no consequences because no one is holding Trudeau to account, even the opposition Conservative party.

The problems of entitled to my entitlements will continue, guaranteed. Below is the federal government policy on hospitality which is a lot of boring reading.
