"The Green Party is becoming more and more anti-Semitic"

Rebel Staff

Today I got an email from the Green Party's Elizabeth May, denouncing the detention of two Canadians being held in Israel for running the Gaza blockade.

I've got some background on these two supporters of terrorism (because that's what they are.)

But they're part of a bigger problem.

Remember the former Green Party president who lost his job simply for expressing ambivalence about the situation in Gaza?

It's part of a troubling increase in anti-Semitism in Green Parties here and abroad.

Funny how any comment criticizing Israel is immediately anti-Semitic. Frankly that ’s just a pile of bile. Funny how one can say pretty much anything about Moslems, Catholics, Baptists, Buddhists etc and not be labelled as anti-this/that with the fear of being ’brought to justice. The grand protection for the Jewish religion only.

The Rebel (ha!) always whining for the impervious protection of Jews over that of any and all other religious belief systems. Rebel, my ass, just another pro-Israel nut hiding behind protection.

May will say anything to see her name in the media. Otherwise no one would know who or what she is.

Anti-Semitic? and here I thought they were just irrelevant.

Liz May and the loon in Britain are fellow travellers . . . along with . . .
Hitler also of course foreshadowed the Red/Green alliance of today. The Nazis were in fact probably the first major political party in the Western world to have a thoroughgoing “Green” agenda. I take the following brief summary from Andrew Bolt:

Hitler’s preaching about German strength and destiny was water in the desert to the millions of Germans who’d been stripped of pride, security and hope by their humiliating defeat in World War I, and the terrible unemployment that followed.

The world was also mad then with the idea that a dictatorial government should run the economy itself and make it “efficient”, rather than let people make their own decisions.

The Nazis — National Socialists — promised some of that, and their sibling rivals in the Communist Party more.

The theory of eugenics — breeding only healthy people — was also in fashion, along with a cult of health.

You’d think we’d have learned. But too much of such thinking is back and changing us so fast that we can’t say how our society will look by the time we die.

A KIND of eugenics is with us again, along with an obsession for perfect bodies.

Children in the womb are being killed just weeks before birth for the sin of being a dwarf, for instance, and famed animal rights philosopher Peter Singer wants parents free to kill deformed children in their first month of life. Meanwhile support for euthanasia for the sick, tired or incompetent grows.

As for tribalism, that’s also back — and as official policy. We now pay people to bury their individuality in tribes, giving them multicultural grants or even an Aboriginal “parliament”.

But most dangerous is that we strip our children of pride, security and even hope. They are taught that God is dead, our institutions corrupt, our people racist, our land ruined, our past evil and our future doomed by global warming.

Many have also watched one of their parents leave the family home, which to some must seem a betrayal.

They are then fed a culture which romanticises violence and worships sex — telling them there is nothing more to life than the cravings of their bodies.

No one can live like this and be fulfilled. People need to feel part of something bigger and better than ourselves — a family, or a church, or a tradition or a country. Or, as a devil may whisper, the greens.

The greens. Here’s a quote which may sound very familiar — at least in part. "We recognise that separating humanity from nature, from the whole of life, leads to humankind’s own destruction and to the death of nations. "Only through a re-integration of humanity into the whole of nature can our people be made stronger . .

“This striving toward connectedness with the totality of life, with nature itself, a nature into which we are born, this is the deepest meaning and the true essence of National Socialist thought.”

That was Ernst Lehmann, a leading biologist under the Nazi regime, in 1934, and he wasn’t alone. Hitler, for one, was an avid vegetarian and green, addicted to homoepathic cures. His regime sponsored the creation of organic farming, and SS leader Heinrich Himmler even grew herbs on his own organic farm with which to treat his beloved troops.

HITLER also banned medical experiments on animals, but not, as we know to our grief, on Jewish children. And he created many national parks, particularly for Germany’s “sacred” forests.

This isn’t a coincidence. The Nazis drew heavily on a romantic, anti-science, nature worshipping, communal and anti-capitalist movement that tied German identity to German forests. In fact, Professor Raymond Dominick notes in his book, The Environmental Movement in Germany, two-thirds of the members of Germany’s main nature clubs had joined the Nazi Party by 1939, compared with just 10 per cent of all men.

I always get a giggle when i hear these idiots mention international waters. Where do they think Int law applies.
States cannot be pirates Morons. Piracy is the action of non state actors.
The blockade is legal even admitted by the UN Palmer report. A miracle in itself!

Liberals in general have an anti-Semitic problem.

Did you see the letter Netanyahu gave those they arrested for running the blockade?

Of course, the Canadian government will support the Canadians detained in custody in Israel. We will support them to get the best justice in the middle east by cooperating with Israel, the middle east’s only democracy.

The Israeli side has offered the possibility of a just and peaceful coexistence….Hamas has not.

Linda Cayer, I agree with you and your mother.

Ian Kludge, I agree with your three criteria. Good post.

My Mother who was raised Scottish Presbyterian told me when I was quite young that the best way to find out weither a person was good or bad was to find out what they thought of Jews. She said if they were anti-semitic that I should not trust them. I have found that to be true.

Elisabeth May should home to the US of A.

Elizabeth May, when she opens her mouth, it never makes ever any sense! I feel she is a wack job!! If ever I am watching any News Programs and Elizabeth May comes on to talk, I turn away! I will never ever care what that wack-job of a politician says. She is anti-Semitic, too. Green Party’s President said his convictions about supporting Isreal during the tunnel episode, the rest of the party threw him out. The Green Party is against Isreal. Also Elizabeth May has nothing good to say about any party or people that leans to the right. What a wack job party.

The Green Party is part of the political left and the left today (it was not always so) is anti-semitic. It is not anti-semitic because it criticizes Israel – in itself there is nothing wrong with that – but it is anti-semtic because it meets the following three criteria. First, the criticism of Israel is persistently one-sided and avoids any serious critiques of Hamas war-crimes against its own citizens and Israelis. Two: they call for solutions that would result in the destruction of Israel, i.e. would require the Israeli state to dismantle itself, i.e. send its people to the slaughterhouse. By their own words, ISIS and Hamas aren’t different on that score. Three: apply a higher standard of conduct to the Israelis than they apply to the Palestinians or anyone else. In other words, Israel should allow itself to be slaughtered to live up to the high standards the world applies to it. Israel, for exasmple, must not defend itself when attacked by unprovoked rocket attacks. These three traits are deeply hypocritical and it is this hypocrisy which shows the anti-semtism so virulent in the left.

The Liberal party of course has a soft anti-semitism. It promises to be more even-handed, an “honest broker” between Hamas and Israel. What next – an honest broker between ISIS and the Kurds? But, of course, taking a decisive stand on anything is not the Liberal way (Remember in WW II, “Conscription if necessary but not necessarily conscription”?) Standing up straight – even against evil – is not the Liberal way. As for the NDP, I will say Mulcair is certainly not an anti-semite – but his party is full of them.

Lizzie the Lush showing her colors again. That UK clip. “Peace be upon you”? The Islamic Green Party Nazis? Sounded like one of Hitler’s speeches!

Don’t let those two back in Canada. Then we’ll show the world we’re serious about combating international terrorism.

Peter i actually don’t think so. If Russia and Muslims can get away with what they do, it would blow over. Even Turkish civil courts refused to hear actions against IDF.

Charleton G, that may be so (though I wasn’t aware of that), but can you imaging the swift and vicious condemnation Israel would get if they did something like that? They get condemnation just for breathing air, an act like that would be a political suicide..

Under the San Remo Manual 1994 Israel has the right to blow these idiots out of the water if they don’t redirect when ordered to do so. That is the Int humanitarian Law .. They. Can do it to even a hospital ship

May is a complete wing nut, and nothing more. I cringe thinking she even has a seat at the table. I hope she loses it in the coming election.

Poor old Elizabeth, she actually thinks real Canadians care what she has to say. Only the truly insane radicals on the left vote for this woman.
