"The Koch brothers actually spend less on politics than unions do"

Brian LilleyArchive

That's what I told NDP MP Charlie Angus on Monday. Listen to the painful silence that followed, on my new podcast.

Justin Trudeau puts his foot in his mouth again by comparing appealing the niqab ruling to sending Jews back to Nazi Germany, and a great chat with Dr. Zudhi Jasser on fighting for the idea of liberty in the Muslim world:

Compare the Koch brothers to the liberal enterprises funded by say the Ford Foundation. Or the billions that come from the pockets of rich liberals. The Koch contributions are a pittance in comparison.

Unions that push a political agenda need to be stopped. One way to stop that is by making union membership voluntary.

I am so impressed with the audio quality on SoundCloud (I imagine that is due to the digital Crowd Funding mic?) and even the production quality of this whole segment!
Between this and Ezra’s HD clips – Rebel Media is already 10x as good as anything I ever heard/watched on TV with Sun News! And you can’t beat the price or fact CRTC is not getting their grubby paws on it.

Your coverage of the Trudeau event also carries with it the applause given by the Liberals in the University social circle. Once again we see those of top rate in education are little more than indoctrination agents, sexual deviants when they get their hands on elementary school curriculum design and more generally not terrible intelligent people. They have to hide behind their framed degrees as little else they offer is of substance. If you want a good education major in math, science and engineering or just button up the pie hole!

To the unions spending so much, before the writ is dropped, to defeat the Harper government, what happened to the idea you, Brian Lilley, discussed with Catherine Swift shortly before SNN went dark, about a court challenge over that issue?

Even if such a challenge failed, at least it would get it before the public prior to the election so the electorate is aware what is happening.

Can we see/hear a follow up?

I know Trudeau was speaking to McGill and that his people prompted clapping but I’ve heard more enthusiastic applause for the off-key homeless guy pontificating for small change. Justin wants the PM job. Not going to happen.

Trudeau may have been speaking to Liberals and to students but despite their polite attention, it was not rapt. They are not stupid. They are embarrassed by Justin.

As to the niqab, it’s pretty cool gang fashion. And as such, I think women and men should wear it if they want … except in banks, jewellery stores, airports, citizenship path-taking ceremonies, and so on.

Face covering is not a religious obligation. It is fashion for how some Muslims choose to interpret Islam’s prescription that women observe modest dress.
