“The Shape of Water” is anti-American, anti-family — and could win “Best Picture” Oscar

Ben DaviesRebel Host | Rebel Reel Reviews

Despite an unusual and intriguing storyline and visual appeal, Oscar-nominated movie The Shape of Water is too slow moving and obvious to really deserve that nomination.

In fact, this film is very similar to the Tim Burton classic Edward Scissorhands — but nowhere near as good.

Far worse, this movie trashes the American dream and the nuclear family, and anyone who is a straight white male is a villain.

Even a Russian communist spy is held up as a hero.

I wish I was joking...

Tom Bradly is music not called music? Then explain why physical appearance is more of a factor than musical talent in many cases.

The arts are always an expression of the artist’s philosophy and world view. The medium is used to express that view and to promote it. This is especially true among left leaning elements.

From the Encyclopedia Britannica:
“One of the things that has been alleged to be the purpose of art is its cognitive function: art as a means to the acquisition of truth. Art has even been called the avenue to the highest knowledge available to humans and to a kind of knowledge impossible of attainment by any other means.”

Anyone with a modest education would know this.

Can’t someone just tell a story – in this case a sort of version of Beauty And The Beast, without you thinking there is some agenda to hate on America?

Even if someone WANTS to make a movie that hates on America, can’t you still accept it as JUST A FICTIONAL STORY?

It must be awful watching movies with you as you probably have a notepad with a check list of things that trigger you.
