“THIS was my favourite part of Trump's Phoenix immigration speech”

Rebel Staff

There were great moments in Trump's immigration speech in Phoenix, Arizona, but I'll show you my favourite part. How can it be controversial to say that any country should have the right to choose who gets to live there?

Shouldn’t America (and Canada) have the right to choose who immigrates, based on language skills, job skills, cultural skills?

“Blacks hate the bigoted and ignorant asshat.”
The irony is real. Drink bleach.

The belief that a nation should be able to choose it’s immigrants. Look no further than the Arab countries of the ME for this concept!

Explain to me how a country with a declining manufacturing base needs 300,000 illiterate peasants per year to “Jump-Start” our economy. “Oh, they’re entrepeneurs!”. More like “Depanneurs” (Quebec slang for Kwikimarts). The maritimes have got f%^ked how many times by the Libs? They promised the Irving shipyards biiiig contracts. Not so much. Thanks for coming out! Pogie rules will get relaxed though. You stupid bastards! Look at your kids in their eyes and say “I voted for your future and I fucked you over!”

Where is Canada’s Donald Trump? He (or she) must – MUST! – be out there, somewhere, just waiting to step forward and, with strength and confidence, to wrench our nation out of the disastrous path that it is currently on, and back on to a healthy and prosperous one. Please show yourself soon: time is running out for this once wonderful country of ours.

I heard about a sweet Jamaican lady here in Ottawa complaining about all the Jamaicans coming into Canada.

Come now Ezra, that is not the Lie-beral way. Even the most primitive tribes are as goo as any university grad.

All that TruDope wants is to increase Lieberal voting base. He couldn’t give a rats ass what is healthy for this country! If he did – we’d see some empathy for the industries him & his henchmen are trying to shut-down. TruDope’s & Nutley lunacy is so profound that they fail to realize that it is these industries which pay a huge portion of the taxes they so frivolously spend like drunken sailors, not the 7-11 cashier & government union type jobs. And the lunacy is continued by serious acts of tyranny & treason.

Interesting how the left will always use the term “refugee” and avoid “immigrant” and say “thug”, “hoodlum”, or “radical” and avoid saying “Islamic terrorist”. Canada is bent on a path of destruction by turning a blind eye to what immigration is intended to do – fill needs in the labour market, broaden participation in society by newcomers through integration policies, and raise cultural and living standards for all, including the immigrant. The social experimentation by Liberals must stop or we will have no country to be proud of when we stop knowing where we came from and what we stand for. Trump understands why and how this is happening in his country and he is determined to put a stop to it.
When you get past his belligerent delivery and focus on the message itself you can see he is the best candidate for their country at this time. Americans have been dummied down by politicians for so long that they need ( and are getting ) a face-slapping in order to get their attention. Good on ya, Donald!

Choose Immigrant who want to be an American/Canadian using traditional political/cultural and social yard sticks. IE those who are coming here to contribute (not be combative or entitlement whores) and define their identity as being unhyphenated.

Anything less and you will have simply a nation of transient welfare migrants who go from nation like locusts, feeding on prosperity until it plays out then moving on to the next free snack.

Oops — should be “won’t successfully INTEGRATE” ;)
commented 2016-09-02 13:50:27 -0400

In my opinion, the federal Conservatives failed to communicate, during the last election, that their concern was with keeping out those immigrants who won’t successfully immigrate. Somehow, many immigrants ended up feeling targeted and threatened.

The irony is, I’ll bet most immigrants feel the same way as people who were born here — i.e. they too want to admit only immigrants who will not endanger the rest of us and who will add to our economic prosperity.

The challenge for conservatives is to frame this message in a way that doesn’t make immigrant communities feel unwelcome by the party (much the same, I submit, as conservatives must frame their messages in a female-friendly way so as not to make women feel unwelcome.)

This is how elections can be won. Dividing the party and excluding groups won’t work, as we have hopefully learned.
