"What a disgrace": Notley snubs U.S. Congressional delegation to Alberta oil sands

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

The U.S. purchases about 99% of Canada's oil exports. Sometimes American leaders from both parties visit the oil sands to see them for themselves.

A Congressional delegation visited last week, headed by Republican presidential candidate and powerful senator, Lindsay Graham.

Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall personally escorted them around, while lobbying for the Keystone XL pipeline.

When the delegation stopped off in Alberta, though, Premier Rachel Notley refused to meet with them.

What a disgrace.

It was only when the Wildrose opposition party embarrassed them that the NDP scrambled into action.

Do you need anymore proof that the NDP hates the oil sands?

Alberta’s NDP is using a fake "public survey" to push climate change policy.

Folks, 12 hours ago LIZA ROSIE, commented, “I totally agree with Peter Babich, can you guys please ignore the troll or just leave if you don’t have any self-control? You are making it so that others don’t want to engage here.”
Two hours later CHARLES MOULTON steps forward, comments, “You all are very correct” and commits, “I will stop wasting my time with these trolls. Thank you Peter and Liza for reminding about clever conversations with the other Rebel followers”.
Two hors later, LIZA ROSIE steps forward and once more engages with Jimmy the troll.”
Four hours later PETER BABICH steps forward and declares with respect to Jimmy, “Just a controlling narcissistic sadist. I retract my previous comments. Fight fire with fire.” What do you mean by “fight fire with fire”? Fight nonsense with nonsense, name calling and expletives with name-calling and expletives, fight untruth with untruth? Peter are you retracting the following which you said 17 hours ago, “Honestly, people of good intent. Please have wisdom to disengage these trolls. You’re playing into their hand” followed by “Besides, you can’t take one ounce of truth from anything they say”, 16 hours ago?
For myself and I am sure many others have had enough with Jimmy’s the troll’s agit prop intended to disrupt and take people down useless rabbit trails, a waste of time, such that we are coming very close to give up commenting on The Rebel.

Notley and her wrecking crew will go down in history as one of the two worst provincial governments in Canada ever. The other, of course is Kathleen Wynne and her wrecking crew. They both seem to relish destroying their provinces.

Liza,

It would solve the problem completely. You would no longer be bothered if you just ignored my every post and there would be less posts, because we wouldn’t be engaged in a two page debate – same thing if others followed your lead and just ignored those that they don’t like.

Start now…

I wish that did solve the problem Jimmy. Besides Joan, Erin, maybe Rudden, who puts up with your crap on this site? You take up too much space, people who would otherwise post, don’t, because it goes on and on, ad nauseum.

Ad nauseam is a Latin term for a discussion that has continued so long that it has continued “to [the point of] nausea”

Wouldn’t you be interested to see who would post if you butted out? I know I would. I think there is a lot of diverse opinion here without you. When you repeatedly post your shlop, people don’t see the point in joining in, because you make every thread about you. It makes it pointless for anyone else to join in, or maybe that is your reason to post in the first place, just to disrupt.

Alex,

Why do you watch the CBC, if you feel that they are left wing propaganda machine? Do you always watch things you don’t like?

Read/Watch

The Toronto Sun, The Rebel, The National Post, Calgary Herald, Halifax-Herald, Ottawa Citizen, Ottawa Sun, The Vancouver Sun, Lifesite Canada, Brietbart, Fox News, The Drudge Report, The Washington Times, Glenn Beck, The Wall Street Journal, The Blaze, Rush Limbaugh, The Daily Caller, Alex Jones, Michael Savage, Ben Shapiro, Steven Crowder, Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin and Ann Coulter to name a few.

I think you are fully covered for conservative media and news.

I sent the following to some big shots at the CBC. On the cc, I asked them to fact check what I wrote. The addresses may be handy for you guys in the future.
KILL THE CBC! KILL THE CBC!!
Fin Donnelly was on Power and Politics today. So was the story on the two Conservative candidates who were kicked out. I have been calling the CBC a left wing propaganda machine for a long time now. Let me point out some facts that occurred today that justifies my wanting of our, yes OUR, 1.1 BILLION dollars to stop going to the CBC.

- Fin Donnelley was interviewed alone with nobody to argue against what he said. I am so upset that from now on I will be referring to Fin Donnelly as “Lying Prick”. With no counter comments, the lying prick had it easy.
- The first question asked to him by the lady was “OK tell us your story”. How convenient for the lying prick.
- To the CBC’s lady’s credit. She played a video from a few days ago which completely contradict what the lying prick was saying today, Only the lying prick commented. Even a two cent lawyer like Mulcair would have been able to expose the lying prick’s lies.
- The lying pricks interview was the shortest of the day. The report on the two Conservatives was much longer.
- Later on that show, they have the Power Panel. it is where experts comment on the days events ( the one with helium head Rob Silver and flaming Ian Dipstick). Not one mention of the lying prick. IS THE CBC LEFT WING. God no
- Guess which topic was discussed the most. Yes, the two conservative candidates who did something three years ago. WHEN THEY WERE NOT CANDIDATES.
Why is a French citizen running to be Canada’s Prime Minister. Not newsworthy.

In Disgust

Liza,

Why can’t you generate enough brain power to simply ignore me. Some people like what I have to say – conservatives Joan and Erin among them. The problem is you – not me. Just ignore me and don’t engage in discussion with me.

Problem solved.

Jimmy Da Silva. You drive a car Jimmy? I say let Toronto go back to the horse and buggy days when the crap from the horses would fill the streets. No cars for Toronto, no oil and gas for Toronto either; just bikes and horses. I bet you would get the point real fast concerning the economy across Canada Jimmy boy although you really don’t sound that bright reading some of the comments you have masturbated onto this thread. Source: A Calgary Boy called Steven.
Yee Haw Jimmy!!

It is really getting old.

Jimmy you think you contribute, why don’t you test your importance to this site. BUG off for 3 days, and lets see what happens to traffic.

Peeing in an empty mug, is way worse than calling for you to be aborted.
Like Harper said, getting rid of him so quick is a testament to the standards of the Conservative party.

Get hung up on this stupid stuff or pay attention to the important stuff.

PETER BABICH, “Besides, you can’t take one ounce of truth from anything they say.” Precisely! Agitprop, abbreviated from Russian agitatsiya propaganda (agitation propaganda), refers to political strategy in which the techniques of agitation and propaganda, specific to the Marxism practiced by communists in the Soviet Union, are used to influence and mobilize public opinion and cause confusion and disruption. The Russian newspaper Pravda, which in typical Orwellian doublespeak means “truth” in Russian, explicitly urged agitprop. An excellent recent example used by Pravda, er the Media Party (CBC, Globe and Mail ‘columnist’ Tabatha Southey, etc.) was the shameless exploitation of a Syrian child’s unfortunate death to spread false information in order to attack Prime Minister Harper. Of course, such behaviour is excused by the left-wing trolls! Prime Minister Harper, by the way, recently decisively dropped two Conservative candidates in Toronto for their misdemeanours. However not a peep from Mulcair, a man who wants to be Prime Minster, with respect to NDP candidate, Fin Donnelly, who shamefully was involved in perpetrating the falsehood about the Syrian boy in order to score political points.

Well, the Alberta ndp will force workers to find jobs in Saskatchewan just like Sk. ndp forced workers to find work in Alberta for decades. Who would have dreamt this could ever happen? One term and the ndp will be toast: Alberta can’t afford them.

PETER BABICH, your appeal to ignore these noisy trolls, who detract from a meaningful constructive conversation, has been made many times before by many others. Comments by people like Jimmy, who is nothing less than one of Lenin’s “useful idiots”, are so outrageous that I can understand people find it difficult not to respond to the left-wing nonsense he spews out. Expect Jimmy to come back with one of his idiotic comments about how he is bringing his class and sophistication (!) to the conversation and, of course, truth, Jimmy’s left-wing notion of truth.

Honestly, people of good intent. Please have wisdom to disengage these trolls. You’re playing into their hand. Make the comments I appreciate and disregard the fools. It humours them to anger you and it is not constructive. Let them live in their ignorance, it is of no consequence

Toronto is a dirty and very unfriendly city. Hated it. Had to move I hated it so much, now I commute frome Guelph which isnt bad. I think both Emonton and Calgary are by far much nicer cities than Toronto. I don’t know what Jimmy is talking about.

Kelvin said, “Jimmy, good idea not to come to my province of Alberta, you would likely be roped and drug to a branding fire where you would be casterated and branded an idiot”

And that’s what we do to people we like. You don’t want to know what we do to people we don’t like.

I was a soldier then I was a cowboy, yes, also worked in the oil patch. And must say had a hand in feeding the nation the finest AAA Alberta beef that you find in your fancy shmancy restaurants in TO and New York City. So I have as much pride in my province as you do in your city, so you can stop slamming anything not TO. Oh ya go blue jays !!!!!!!

Fern Shuttleworth – that would be how a conservative looks at it, but socialists love other people’s money. And wasting other people’s time (a la Jimmy). Do we all remember how PM Thatcher described the ultimate fate of socialism?
