“White Boy Rick”: Realistic drama avoids glorifying life of crime

Ben DaviesRebel Host | Rebel Reel Reviews

The film with one of the most fun and interesting trailers of the entire summer, White Boy Rick, is now in theatres, so does the film live up to the promise hinted at?

The movie is based on the true story of Rick, who before the age of 16, was informing for the FBI.

If you saw the trailer and expected an oddball, crime drama with a bunch of twists and turns, the film isn’t the fun movie it’s made out to be.

I bet this will make the film much better and more memorable than if it had been another glorification of criminality and violence. Except for rare cases their is a price to pay.

Good to see , there have been others in the past ,Scarface was a huge one, the life cost Tony Montana, it destroyed him and everyone he cared about.

Are white boys becoming so scarce that they have to make movies about them?
Better open up the exit doors and deporting undesirables. Kind of equal things up a bit…….Right Justin.
