"Why isn't Kathleen Wynne behind bars yet?"

Brian LilleyArchive

Instead, the Ontario premier is standing by those two Liberal operatives she allegedly sent to bribe a candidate to drop out of an election.

Even after secret recordings of these plans were made public, Wynne didn't blink.

Many of the authorities who could bring Wynne to justice are -- guess what? -- Liberal appointees.

The OPP (who some now call "the Ontario Political Police") helped get Wynne elected, campaigning on the union side against PC leader Tim Hudak.

Wynne insists that she and her staffers are innocent of all wrongdoing.

I disagree. The premier has to be held accountable.

I read that Wynne danced her way out of this one stating that Sorbara wasnt acting as her deputy at the time but rather for the liberal party but that doesnt wash-if this is the case then Sorbara would have to indicate to this guy in advance who she was working for. So get off your butts opp or rcmp and investigate properly. Because that explanation doesnt wash and you know it and ontario knows it so stop insulting our intelligence Conflict of interest included in the charges not to mention bribery.

oh by the way stop trying to stop me from posting here since you are on this computer and trying to intimidate that way. I am much like Joan Abernethie so it wont work
commented 2015-05-28 08:37:27 -0400
so if the rcmp refuses to investigate this then they are hypocrites and not true law enforcement because their very own spoke of organized crime alligned with government here in southern ontario so here is a great place to start-
commented 2015-05-28 08:33:44 -0400
good question because north bay and sudbury are purported to be controlled by the maffia/organized crime so when bribery in elections occur in this neck of the woods a thorough investigation is needed and if it is not done-why not-if its not done then its a cover-up. Follow the links how according to the rcmp organized crime began to be alligned with government in southern ontario . Start with the construction industry. That is the link. To Joan Abernathie your an inspiration to everyone of courage to stand up to those who threaten you and even had you arrested for being the good guy. The detective that threaten you should be investigated and his badge removed. He is no good cop.

Nothing will happen to the Liberal party and Kathleen Wynne. The fact that Subdury still voted for the Liberals while this story was HOT says it all. Not to mention the fact that mostly the Toronto area voted in favor of a the Liberal party for the past 4 elections, no matter all the broken promises, tax hikes, criminal investigations, boondoggles, etc…
It is scary to think that our livelihoods are now just “a game” now to politicians who are very good at it this game…
I will leave this province the first chance I get

Great report, Brian! But to answer your question, why she isn’t in jail yet, why should she worry? The OPP is on the case. Just like they are on the ORNGE case, just like they are on the deleted email case. The fact that anyone can be investigated by their own employees shows us to be the banana republic we have become. With the deleted emails, they actually announced they were paying back the $10k they paid their consultant, yet the OPP won’t even interview the person they admit they paid!!!
commented 2015-02-24 21:43:40 -0500
She should be held accountable. my guess is she’s shakin in her boots right now. Bet she’d go for a case of depends till this investigation is over and they call it what it is.
commented 2015-02-24 21:02:08 -0500
The way I see it now with all the bribery and corruption in this province of Ontario it would be in ones best interest to say you are a Liberal if ever stopped by OPP, they will shake your hand and let you go…..

This woman is unbelievable. Good report Brian.
commented 2015-02-23 23:05:00 -0500
Totally agree with you Brian. How can Wynne stand there & blatantly lie about what was offered. How can you ask the OPP to bite the hand that feeds them???
commented 2015-02-23 23:02:45 -0500
She is not in jail because OPP have got her covered. The RCMP and a special federal prosecutor should be brought in to get to the bottom of what is perhaps the second most corrupt government in Canadian history, McGinty’s being the first.

What she and her gov’t are getting away with is criminal, gas plant scandal, sex education, bribes, and who know what else. All I can say is thank God I don’t live in Ontario.
commented 2015-02-23 15:38:55 -0500
I’m not holding my breath either. This regime is as corrupt as can be yet the OPP and their buddies who got her elected won’t lift a finger to help us. Shame, shame.

I would need Ezra Levant to help me find the words to describe my disgust and revulsion with this Wynne government. I have know they are corrupt for many years and now they are ramming their sordid sex-ed curriculum down our throats. When will we see that this government is about the concerns of special interest groups and not the the general population. I could have been more explicit than “special interest” but I think most folks on TheRebel know what I am saying.

Wynne is a liar and has absolutely nothing to offer any good Ontarian. The liberal voters must take the blame for the mess we have been saddled with in Ontario. Before she and her gang are finished with us, we will not be a have not province…we will be a 3rd world province like 3rd world countries. Welcome to Ontario where the government can rape you and you have to lay down and take it with a smile.

In the liberal philosophy there is no such thing as moral standards, there is always one thing – power. History shows that the result of this perversion is tyranny.

The Liberals will never be charged, the OPP are an extension of the Party. They even campaigned for the Party during the last election. Democracy has been highjacked in Ontario by government workers who campaign for the Party to ensure wages are kept high. Laws mean nothing in this Province anymore. The OPP’s conduct in Caledonia is another example of the Police following the Liberal Party line, never charge Natives, ensure you arrest Law abiding non-natives. Until the people of Ontario wake up we will have no democracy here. Ontario is beginning to look like Russia or Ukraine with wide spread government corruption and nothing being done about it.

How much more evidence does one need? COME ON! If this was a conservative on the recording then nothing less than blood would be demanded by the liberals and NDP.
But the ontario liberals got voted in again even under all evidence that would suggest it would be foolish to rehire this band of thieves..Perhaps we are to blame..perhaps there should be a minimum intelligence test to vote as you must do if you even fill out a simple home depot survey! Because governments play with our lives and the politically illiterate masses are willing to be bribed with their own money.

History repeats

I am very unsure that anything will happen. I have never been so disappointed to see this person installed as premier of this Province. Now, she is indoctrinating children in grade 1. For the first time, I am happy my grandchildren do not live in Ontario. They left as there is no hope for this Province now.

Humans share 98% of DNA with monkeys and rats and the balance is unique; a soul perhaps. Remove the soul and you have the majority of the electorate acting as monkeys and the typical politicians as rats The actions of Ms. Kathleen Wynne are proof positive and no disrespect to monkeys and rats as they function as nature intended.

Why doesn’t the federal government step in and do something? Get these 3 investigations turned over to the RCMP.

Oops, hit “post” instead of the box to correct the typo.

An agent of the Ontario MAG offered me “a lot of money” and a CEO job in exchange for protecting the ID of men disabling women in Ontario. You know, like happened in Rotherham where police covered up sex crime and, no doubt, bribed and threatened people to keep them silent. When I said no thanks, a detective told me if I didn’t shut up, police and the Crown would throw me in jail. Which they then did. Three times they dragged me through wrongful arrests, detention and prosecution and each time they withdrew when I refused the corruption of threats, bribes, and other intimidation. So, in my experience, this is business as usual in Ontario where organized crime corruption of government, including collusion with foreign and domestic terrorist political organization, is worse than in Quebec … just like Jacques Duchesneau told Justice Charbonneau it is.

No one listens. No one cares.

Ontario is too far gone and has been for years. Police and the Crown are complicit with big corruption at all levels and intimidation, threats and bribes just the -yawn – price/cost of doing business. I have been complaining for years of the bribe I was offered by an agent of thr MAG (Ontario)

Looks like KW is becoming a master at the proverbial “Big Lie”. You know, the one that if you tell it often enough and loudly enough people will begin to believe it. Unfortunately, this particular lie does not look like it has legs, and may actually come back to bite her. At least, some of us hope it does.
