No, I'm not talking about the rampant crime, horrible roads, insane taxes, and apocalyptic view of President Trump. Instead, the city will remove all street names associated with historic Civil War Confederate generals.
As someone who lives in Los Angeles, I want the quality of life in the city to go up, but how does renaming streets help — and where does it stop?
After all the Civil War statues are gone, and streets renamed, will the light be brighter, the smells stronger and the sounds clearer?
No. It will motivate the next meaningless outrage.
