A deadly week for law enforcement: Why it's happening and what we can do

John CardilloRebel Host | Off The Cuff

It has been a particularly deadly week for law enforcement officers with five killed in the line of duty, two on Thanksgiving Day. Why is this happening, and what, if anything, can we do about it?

Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Overall was murdered by a criminal trying to evade capture in a high speed chase.
Deputy Overall was a school liazon officer in addition to his normal policing duties.
Numerous students, former and present day are coming forward with stories of how he helped them with their problems .
In short,Deputy Overall contributed to society in numerous ways and was working on a day that is Holiday for most.
Now compare this tragic story in the context of the recent decision of the Toronto school board to throw police liazon officers off school properties , folding to the demands of the BLM movement which has absolutely no business operating in Canada. BLM is a hate filled Marxist inspired group and should never have had standing with a school board.
Officers are dying in the streets because our societies are dying as well. Totally pathetic mess .

John Cardillo—-I could see your sadness, 5 dead Law Enforcement People on Thanksgiving. Unlike the ordinary people in the US and Canada, the Police have a Union. Cant they recommend policies that will make it safer for Police. If something doesn’t change, the Police will leave the thugs on their own and the unarmed people will suffer.
Obama should be made to pay for inviting the BLM terrorist group to the White House.

Americans can at least legally arm themselves, become proficient in armed defense and protect themselves, their family and community – other backward nations are not as fortunate and so the slaughter of innocents by the insane continues unabated because police cannot be everywhere 24/7

The fake news media is worst for advancing the hate agenda. Maybe once the swampy press corps. is changed we’ll see a shift in attitude.

How can a Police Officer upheld the Law properly, when arresting a Muslim gets him labeled a Racist and libel to loose his job?

Obama made a bad situation far worse. George Soros & others funded him & hate groups like BLM. Scumbag leftist celebrities & politicians have been feeding into it. Every time an NFL football player takes a knee for the anthem they’re promoting it.

… Just watched a few episodes of “Under Arrest”- cameras following around Canadian police doing their job. For certain, they are the most abused and disrespected group in our society. Their days are filled with verbal and physical abuse.
… This is unbelievably wrong. The necessary force should be used whenever a police officer is disrespected. THE LAW MUST BE UPHELD. No debate, no middle ground. Restoring respect for the law and it’s officers must be re-established.
