A “surreal” day in the “West Bank”

On our first full day in Israel, we travelled to the West Bank (and I learned why calling it that is "politically correct.")

One of our stops was to the university in Ariel, a "settlement" that is more like a small city. Ariel is the target of many BDS campaigns, but I heard a fascinating story about how one of these boycotts backfired...
