AB MLA Barnes: “Canada shouldn't even consider a carbon tax, until…”

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

On Wednesday's show, I was joined by Alberta UPC MLA Drew Barnes, to talk about Premier Notley's reaction to Nebraska's approval of the Keystone XL pipeline. Here's an excerpt:

The green blob, a trail of left wing bribery, corruption and fraud. I wonder how many politicians in this country are on the take, and bought and paid for by the Rockefeller foundation or the like.

Bali volcano spewing more ash and gases , This will add to cooling the earth . Carbon tax is Bevus and Butt heads brain child to screw Canadians . All their rich friends won’t be affected at all . This is going to make Canada less competitive and many will loose their jobs .

Lovely sentiment MLA Barnes – We agree with you 100% – now will you and your party show the balls to openly declare carbon taxing in this provinve/nation a hoax and kill it…dead…on both levels!

Even those who pimp this hoax cannot explain why they don’t have Canada getting enough carbon credits for our vast boreal forest carbon sink to offset Canada paying a dime into this hoax.

MLA Barnes, Conservative parties – denounce carbon taxing as a hoax…..or stop pretending to be a voice of reason.

That is true Stephen… Water in gaseous form retains heat while CO2 absorbs and holds nothing as it is infrared neutral. Removing CO2 from the atmosphere will affect agriculture to some degree and it fits in with the agenda 21 plan to depopulate the planet to whatever degree possible by any means available..

They don’t teach much in science at school anymore.!

Taxing carbon dioxide is a fool’s mission. What man has produced over the past 100 years planet earth itself produces in a year.

There has yet to be a verifiable correlation between CO2 and global warming; CO2 usually follows, not proceeds warming. Virtually every model of warming fails when put into reverse, and every projection has been wrong. The only models that actually work are those that base calculations on the sun.

The source of global warming – a warming which hasn’t been apparent for the past 19 years – would be the sun. It is believed that a combination of the earth’s wobble, variation in orbit, and the sun entering a cycle of higher or lower output will cause earth to warm or cool. The new belief is that we will be entering an ice age within twenty years or less, others believe within fifteen-hundred years.

Actually, since there are icecaps, earth technically is still in an ice age.

While the non-scientist “experts”, such as Al Gore and the UN, blame man for warming up the planet, they have yet to offer an explantation that in the 80s and 90s planets in our solar system, such as Mars and Venus, actually warmed up, too. Could it actually be the sun that was warming everything up?

Whatever warming we did see up to two decades ago had much to do with the fact that earth was warming up for over a hundred years since the mini-ice age.

In 1895 the consensus was a coming ice age. Again in the 1940s, 1965, 1995 and now in 2017. The promised global warming, no matter how warmists try to spin it, isn’t happening.

None of the “experts” have explained the Medieval warming period where temperatures were higher than today.

Tax “carbon” (meaning carbon dioxide) must include soda drinks, beer, wine, hard alcohol, all pets, people with lawns who cut grass, burning wood, head tax for breathing, and virtually anything and everything in our lives. Oil is just one of many sources of CO2 by man. The planet itself produces much, much more.

The greatest global warming gas is water in the atmosphere. It represents 97% of greenhouse gases. How much water is there in the atmosphere? Five times all the water in all oceans, lakes, rivers, ponds, reservoirs, pools on planet earth. Then there are the other gases in our atmosphere. When warmists toss out large numbers to scare us, just put them into perspective, Our adding CO2 to the atmosphere is like adding a bucket of water to the ocean. Man’s annual contribution of CO2 is less than the average variance of CO2 planet earth produces from year to year. We are talking about less than ⅓ of 1% of all CO2.

Lets not forget that CO2 is plant food. Less CO2, smaller crops. Below 150 ppm CO2, no plants; no plants then no life. Period.

To some people those are draconian measures Billy… Not everybody can afford the $10,000 to swing their furnace over from oil to electric or natural gas… And other things as well. Canada is just fine… we have a huge country and a small population base and we don’t contribute anything negative to the planet. Enough social do gooders already…

“ Before we even debate whether carbon is a problem or not”. I like the sound of that.

We should abandon the Paris Agreement and righteously pursue a home-grown policy of environmental stewardship as was done in the past.
Promote clean energy, such as nuclear and hydro.
Tax – let’s call it a “carbon tax” – high fuel consumption vehicles such as gas guzzlers (not trucks for work and transportation of goods) but Ferraris and Limousines.
Tax home heating oil where there is a gas or electric option.
Tax slash burners where chipping is an option.
Raise fines on those who damage the environment, such as spills, dumping and littering.
Reduce or eliminate taxes on electric cars, clean hydro sources, and “green” products
Raise the export tax on coal going to foreign countries where there is little or no technology to reduce emissions, and/or raise import taxes on products from those same countries, afterall, those imports are subsidized by Canadians because they come into our country partly because they could NOT be created here due to our strict environmental regulations.

Hope Barnes and others are finally siding with freedom of the press and not blacklisting the Rebel because SJW Liberals say they should.

Camel Dung Trudeau and his Gang of Lost Causes, have actually managed to make his (alleged) Father’s, Gang of Wankers, look like angels. Quite an achievement, even for a first class idiot.

We all know the corrupt Lieberal Party initiated the “Gas Tax” in Canada to further their reckless spending habits. When the money tree is getting bare the Lieberal Party just jacks up the taxes.

I have to live within my means, why shouldn’t the government?

Trudeau must go!!!!!……..And take that wretch Wynne with him.
