The steaming garbage inferno of the NDPs coal phase out just keeps raging out of control.
This time a coal community close to Edmonton has produced something the NDP completely fear:
An evidence based economic assessment into just how the coal phase out will hurt their community.
Parkland County CAO Mike Heck says the NDP’s forced early shutdown of coal producers could cost his community $40 million dollars and 1300 direct jobs.
Coal electricity producers are getting an early payout from the government to cancel their existing contracts while Alberta communities are left holding the bag.
Parkland won’t get a bailout. It will get a shrinking tax base, outward migration, and unemployment.
There are going to be a lot of empty houses in Alberta’s coal communities equipped with “free” light bulbs and low flow shower heads.
While the NDP are handing out corporate welfare for multibillion dollar corporations to not work and produce anything, they are putting entire communities on the welfare lines.
And the NDP cowards?
They still won't visit these sacrifice communities and explain themselves.
