Alberta NDP Minister flees from unemployed energy workers

Holly NicholasRebel Commentator

The Wildrose and Progressive Conservatives are the only parties standing up for the laid off oil and gas workers looking for jobs to get back on track. A crowd that marched to the Legislature is part of a larger group of engineers, geologists, and geophysicists that are sitting at a 50% unemployment rate and are willing to be retrained.

Remember that group Iron and Earth that I told you about? If you don't, you can check out my story HERE.

This is the group that Tzeporah Berman introduced to the NDP to get them government help to retrain oil and gas workers to install solar panels.

And the laid off professionals at this rally are lining up to get those jobs because they’re desperate for work. But Wildrose MLA Prasad Panda explained to The Rebel that the Alberta government is completely stonewalling these hard up Albertans that have asked to meet with the government many times about these retraining programs.

And it’s not even that the NDP are evading questions and requests for meetings from unemployed skilled workers - they’re literally running from them. At the rally, The Rebel caught Minister of Advanced Education, Marlin Schmidt, running away from the unemployed professionals, while PC MLA Ric McIver asked him to say a few words to the crowd at the Legislature.

Caucus members from both the Wildrose Party and the Progressive Conservatives were out to listen to what these unemployed professionals had to say, including Brian Jean, leader of the official opposition. Meanwhile, the NDP are busy astroturfing seemingly genuine oil and gas workers in from outside of Alberta who haven’t even retrained one worker. So who’s side are the Alberta NDP really on?

Snotley should be locked up, even if just
on principle. Kick that ndp scum to the
curb. Between her and trudope and a
few more, they are killing Canada. Snotley
reminds me of how to know who’s the head
nurse. Easy, the one with dirty knees. Get
out Snotley.

The gopher must be the official mascot of the Alberta Non-Democratic Party. It is an animal that is adept at running to its burrow and then hiding in it; Schmidt definitely has that behaviour mastered. Mind you gophers do poke their heads out once in a while, unlike the invisible energy minister.

Holly, in a way I do not want Notley to remove these activists from her government.

I don’t want Notley to do anything at all that helps Alberta. This sounds like an odd thing to say, but my reasoning is that I do not want Notley to do anything that might garner her any support.

The worse she does in office the more likely the NDP will be gone from existence in Alberta come next election.

At this point the little that she might do, such as fire the anti-oil activist in her government, will cause little effect on mitigating the destruction she is bringing on Alberta. But if firing those activists brought her some votes, they that would be a disaster.

Let the witch do her damage now and ensure the rope around her neck (figuratively speaking of course).

Fox News headline, "In a major sign of a US economic rebound, the private sector added 253,000 jobs in May, according to payroll processor ADP. The figure far exceeded expectations of 185,000. "

This is what the US and Canadian Lefties fight against when they fight Trump.

It’s nice to see that they were heard by the party that cares. Holly showed us what the Ndp really thinks of Albertans, now to sign that petition.
