AB NDP's 525% craft beer tax violated provincial trade agreement

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

On Wednesday's episode of The Gunn ShowBo Vitanov from Artisan Ales Consulting joined me to detail her fight against the Alberta NDP's 525% tax hike on microbrewery beer.

The Notley government's decision violated inter-provincial trade agreements and was defeated in a trade tribunal thanks to a Calgary-based beer importer.

WATCH my interview with Bo to see how the NDP's tax went far beyond the usual favors governments provide to industries in their province.

Albertans, just wait for her to increase the taxes on toilet paper 525% or limiting how much you can buy!

Not fraud you guys – usury. It’s against the law to charge 60% or more interest. One could make the case that “tax” and “interest” are the same.
