The Emmys are supposed to be about honouring excellence in television, but instead what we witnessed the other night resembled the halftime act at the Democratic Party’s National Convention.
Watch as I show you why Sunday’s bitch-fest has emerged as one of the lowest-rated Emmy telecasts of all time.
In the end, Americans who tuned in to be entertained rather than preached to, weren’t buying what the Emmy Elites were selling.
Those in TV land tuned out as it began to feel like the Affirmative Action Emmys.
As for the theme of the night, it was this: When in doubt, Dump on Trump!
If, on the other hand, an actor had expressed his or her support for President Trump, THAT would have been the very definition of courageous.
But being pro-Trump in the biosphere of the bizarre that is Hollywood is a no-fly zone.
It’s all so brave to come on stage and declare that you’re a member of the LGBTQIA-and-sometimes-Y community. But just try taking the podium and proclaiming that you’re a Trump supporter or a Republican or that you swing right of centre!
If you know what’s good for you, it’s best you stay in the closet.
Andrew this has been happening for some years now, they are just getting more obnoxious. Try again.

Has nothing to do with Trump since Stephen Colbert attacks Trump every night and his talk show is number one in the ratings.
But, taken at face value,, that out of every ten thousand Americans, approximately*three* tuned out.
Droves, indeed. Do I sense desperation in the right wing cause? Or are we just relaying the Breitbart story without stopping to consider their occasionally casual relationship with the truth?
