Alberta's Destroyers: Rod Loyola is the Chavez loving communist in Notley's backbench

Keean BexteRebel Contributor

Welcome to the first episode of Meet Your Destroyers! We are going to introduce you to the bumbling backbench, and the fumbling frontbench of the Alberta’s socialist NDP Government.

Albertans like to kid about the NDP being a bunch of “commies” — it is an easy joke to make. They call everyone to the right of Obama a fascist after all.

Calling the NDP a bunch of communists gives us some relief. We think it is comedic, so we sit back as we white knuckle it through their term.

The problem? Well, it’s not a comedy.

Let me introduce you to Rod Loyola, or Rodrigo Alonso Loyola Salas, his actual name.

Loyola is a Chilean expat who was born during the Marxist Presidency of Salvador Allende. I guess he came to Alberta to spread the teachings of Karl Marx. Now I have my hunches about the rest of the NDP caucus, but without a doubt, Comrade Loyola clocks in and out of the Alberta Legislature as a Communist.

Loyola is not some socialist memester, some college kid with a poster of Castro in his bedroom at his mom’s house. No, he’s an actual Communist. As in, the real, red deal. The full hammer-and-sickle situation.

Loyola is so committed to the Communist cause that he has stood before crowds to praise the late Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chávez and his disastrous “Bolivarian revolution” that turned that rich country into a corrupt Marxist economic ruin.

WATCH to learn more!

DALE WARREN commented 2 hours ago…

If you don’t know the name of the father of Fascism and what his manifesto is called – and why no one else does either, and that Fascism is an extrapolation of Marxism – chicken and egg – and that the NAZI Fascists got some of their ideas from the Democratic Party and how they treated Blacks, etc., then you should read Dinesh D’Souza’s book, “THE BIG LIE: Exposing The NAZI Roots Of The American Left”.

I can’t find this quote that is attributed to Vlad Lenin. When asked about Socialism he apparently replied:
“Socialism is merely a slowed down version of Communism, without all the violence and revolution.”

“They call everyone to the right of Obama a fascist after all.” ? ? ?
Fascists were Socialists, they are “Fellow Travellers” of the NDP . . . “Fascism” was, in fact, a Marxist coinage. Marxists borrowed the name of Mussolini’s Italian party, the Fascisti, and applied it to Hitler’s Nazis, adroitly papering over the fact that the Nazis, like Marxism’s standard-bearers, the Soviet Communists, were revolutionary socialists.
In fact, “Nazi” was shorthand for the National Socialist German Workers’ Party.

“The goal of socialism is communism.” – Vladimir Lenin

“Even socialist dictators have an interest in gorgeous supermodels.” Too absurd to contemplate except it may be reality in Chavez’s world… Dogs and zoo animals eaten for food but a good set of “boobies” gets you a “freebie”?… The whole Fucken nation of Venezuela seems to be on a druggie trip… And heaven help the remaining dogs….

Chaves called his movement 21st Century Socialism. He also called for a 5th International.

Quotes from Chavez:

The left is back, and it’s the only path we have to get out of the spot to which the right has sunken us. Socialism builds and capitalism destroys.

I am convinced that the path to a new, better and possible world is not capitalism, the path is socialism.

I have said it already, I am convinced that the way to build a new and better world is not capitalism. Capitalism leads us straight to hell.

We’re not perfect, but we do have democracy.

The media has for us a fundamental priority because it is a weapon for the ideological struggle and a weapon to express to the people the hope that we all have.

Castro has been a teacher for me. A master. Not on ideology but on strategy.

Even socialist dictators have an interest in gorgeous supermodels.

Capitalism is destroying the world.

The left is back, and it’s the only path we have to get out of the spot to which the right has sunken us. Socialism builds and capitalism destroys.

And my favourite:

Venezuela has changed forever.

venezuela cannot sell its oil because their tankers are not allowed in harbours elsewhere… they are a floating oil slick… low oil prices are not why their oil doesn’t sell…

You’re talking about my MLA buddy. Can you get me his address?

According to the OECD and ILO et al the portion of the Canadian workforce employed in state-owned enterprises, and the public sector generally, is around 21%. In Venezuela it’s 29%. This stands in stark contrast to Cuba (80%) or China (50%) and is roughly the same ratio as in Scandinavia. Much banking, finance, retail commerce remains in private hands. Venezuela boasts a dozen billionaire dynasties all of whom predated and survived Chavez.

Recently there have been some haphazard “nationalizations” of assets of firms that have pulled out of Venezuela due to the depression and the sanctions. The roots of their current crisis are an over-reliance on oil sales and the belief that $100 barrel oil would last forever.

The land/housing issue is key to the ferment. Understanding that unlocks the mystery.

@ William Kay – Once again William you sound exactly like our resident troll Jimmy Da-lyin’ Silva.

“Hugo Chavez was neither a Marxist nor a dictator.”

Actions speak louder than words. His actions prove he is both a dictator, a cruel one at that, and a socialist in the extreme. Centralized government owing everything. Jailing or outright killing dissidents and his political opponents.
Walk like a duck, quack like a duck. Is a duck.

“He won four elections by wide margins often with the endorsement of the Catholic Church.”

Rigged elections supported by a corrupt dioceses of the Catholic church will for sure provide winning by a “wide margin”. Well, that and murdering your political opponents.

William, you need to do your research on more than the socialist loving websites … or better yet just move to Venezuela and live there, you know, to put your actions where your lying mouth is. Prove to us all that Venezuela is not a socialist dictatorship.

“Hugo Chavez was neither a Marxist nor a dictator.”

The families of thousands of dead Venezuelans might disagree with you.

“Hugo Chavez was neither a Marxist nor a dictator.”.. Yeah, and ditto for Castro, and Stalin and Mao… Just well intentioned souls doing what is best for the people even if they didn’t recognize it… And those “political opponent slave farms” were just illusions of their doing what had to be done… Unless you have relatives who were sent to the Gulag in my parents’ generation, as I do, I would suggest William Kay that you FUCK OFF!…

Great idea calling out these commie pinko destroyers and exposing their treason!
It would be nice if you could get photographic evidence of how many of them are actual card-carrying members of Socialist International! If that would even make a difference to most people these days…

This video provides no evidence of communism. Loyola calls for a 30-35% royalty structure which in hindsight seems naive but it is not wildly out of whack with levies in many other western jurisdictions.
Hugo Chavez was neither a Marxist nor a dictator. He won four elections by wide margins often with the endorsement of the Catholic Church. When Chavez left office 75% of the Venezuelan economy was in the private sector. The natonalisation of the oil industry occurred long before he arrived on the scene.
Bexte does do good journalism from time to time but here he is just not delivering what he is advertising. He didn’t do his homework here.

Well let’s give this commie rat bastard a one way ticket back to Venezuela if he likes it so much!!

Let’s all forward this story on Facebook and Twitter. Communists like Loyola must be exposed for the destroyers of democracy. It also speaks volumes about the NDP taking in such a far-left lunatic.

Looks like the little red porker Rodrigo could do with a few months on the Venezuelan diet and off the taxpayers trough.
