Today I'm reporting from outside the Alberta legislature in Edmonton. I must tell you, the air smells a little freer now that Rachel Notley's job-killing, anti-energy NDP is out of power.
It looks like new premier Jason Kenney getting ready to keep his biggest promise: To repeal the hated carbon tax.
But how far will Kenney go in overturning the rest of Notley's radical agenda?
What about Bill 6, the farm unionization act? Or the NDP's war on homeschooling and Christian schools?
I predict that the Media Party and what's left of the opposition will put up a fight in the months ahead.
Here at The Rebel, we'll hold Jason Kenney's government to account from the right, challenge him to address conservative issues he's reluctant to talk about — and we'll call out the Media Party's gutter journalism and bad faith criticism of Kenney, too.
The tide has turned in Alberta. Will it turn at the national level come October's federal election?
My guests tonight, Keean Bexte and Sheila Gunn Reid, talk about all this — and there's also an unscripted "interview" with a certain NDP MLA you won't want to miss!
