This morning, I was in frosty Lamont, Alberta to cover another Yellow Vest Convoy where approximately 30 trucks, cars and other pieces of equipment, had gathered on highway 831 about one hour east Edmonton.
They gathered there to convoy into Alberta’s capital city in support of the oil and gas industry, and against legislation designed to harm the industry, like the pipeline blocking bill C-69 and oil tanker ban bill C-48.
While I was there, I was able to get an update on the “Yellow Vest (Official) Convoy to Ottawa 2019” from event organizer Glen Carritt, who made the trip from Innisfail to show support for the Lamont Yellow vests.
Every weekend in towns big and small all across the prairies, the Yellow Vests continue to gather and regardless of what the mainstream media says about them, they aren't going away anytime soon.
According to them, they’re just getting started!
