The leader of the Wildrose Party tabled his five priorities on this first full day of campaigning heading into the May 5th Alberta election.
They include balancing the books with no new taxes by 2017.
Brian Jean's promise was short of specifics but he says he'll roll out details as the campaign moves forward.
He also ripped into Jim Prentice for suggesting his party if full of extremists, saying if wanting a balanced budget and low taxes is "extreme," then Alberta is full of such people.
Jean's promise also includes an old school approach to grading students, saying the education has strayed from
what used to work just fine.
The leader also vowed to ban floor crossings if he becomes premier as a way to ensure democracy triumphs in Alberta over politics.
