After a day of chaos and agitation, a reported neo-Nazi rammed a car into a crowded Black Lives Matter and Antifa protest, killing one woman and injuring at least 19 others.
The suspect is being held on suspicion of second-degree murder, multiple counts of malicious wounding and leaving the scene of an accident.
Our Faith Goldy was there, reporting live.
Faith had just crossed the street before the car came barrelling down it.
Her footage and the information she gave to the police will help convict the killer.
But our political enemies saw this carnage as an opportunity to attack The Rebel before the final count of the injured and dead were even tallied.
Alberta finance minister Joe Ceci used the death of a woman for political expediency half a world away, tweeting"
“Those who fan racism's flames, like the Rebel, have no place in our society. #ableg”
Economic Development and Trade Minister Deron Bilous somehow linked me and our thousands of supporters to a neo-Nazi in Virginia, tweeting,
“unequivocally denounce the racism and hatred in #Charlottesville. Anyone who feels the same should denounce The Rebel. Period.”
United Conservative Candidate Doug Schweitzer, fighting for his share of NDP voters, attacked us for defending first amendment rights of all Americans. He tweeted:
“Just watched the @TheRebelTV feed from #Charlotteville. Absolutely wrong. @jkenney @BrianJeanAB - you can't give them a pass! /1 #ableg #ucp.”
What kind of fevered and deranged mind does one have to have rolling around inside their skull to see that video we all saw, of a woman being murdered in real time, right in front of the world and say “how do I use this to attack my political critics half a world away?”
Watch my video about these opportunistic hypocrites, using tragedy and violence for personal gain.
They’re just revolting ghouls.
The media and our politicians have decided for us that if we want to be against Nazis and political murder, we must support the violent Marxist left. For them, it’s a zero sum game.
How about: I can’t stand them all, the neo -Soviets and the neo-Nazis alike?
But at the same time, I would do them no physical harm and will defend their rights in a free society to speak and demonstrate peacefully.
That is what distinguishes us from the violent hate mongers and their evil murderous ideologies on both ends of the political spectrum.
In fact, it is what is required of all of us in a civilized, mature and free society.
Holding these values — that one's rights are God given are not contingent on my feelings about them or what they say or think — is what separates us from our progressive censors in the NDP and the fake conservatives who can't wait to get into power to censor us some more.
