Rachel Notley issued a ban on the Alberta NDP campaigning for the BC NDP this election purportedly due to the fact that they don’t support Kinder Morgan and she does.
The ban covers those considered to be “official employees” but of course, that wouldn’t include her activist friends like Tzeporah Berman and Karen Mahon.
Both of these anti-oil activists have been appointed to the Oilsands Advisory Group which is charged with making decisions affecting Alberta’s oil and gas industry and infrastructure projects.
Recall Tzeporah is the one that wants to keep all the oil in the ground and Mahon so strongly opposes the Kinder Morgan pipeline that she was once arrested for defying a court ordered injunction zone that was there to protect drillers.
She’s also the Canadian Director of Stand, a foreign funded group that targets Canadian oil and gas projects to shut them down.
And guess who’s registered as a BC Election Advertising Sponsor? That’s right. Stand! As can be seen from her Twitter feed for all to see, Tzeporah Berman has attended every BC NDP election event.
Once again, Rachel Notley is getting her activist friends to do her dirty work.
We know the BC NDP hate the Kinder Morgan pipeline and they hate Alberta’s oil and gas industry, which means they also must not like Albertans very much.
They can’t go campaign for the BC NDP themselves so they’re sending their kooky activist pals to help the NDP beat both the BC Liberals and Albertans.
